We had lunch here three times and dinner once. The lunchtime service was better than the evening with the staff being more friendly and welcoming. The food was very good and the outlook was very pleasent but not the best view of Marigot Bay. The desserts were poor. One meal I had the T-bone steak which was disappointing as it was quite tough and not of good quality.

We were staying at the hotel and ate breakfast and often lunch at the Hurricane hole. The staff were always charming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything we ate was delicous and I feel it offers a better alternative to the Rainforest Hideaway. Cocktails and wine list are also good.
I highly recommend the fish cakes (we had them number of times and they were consistently amazing) and salads. My boyfriend also had the Rib eye steak one evening and said it was amazing.
It's a great spot to see the bay and enjoy some great food and drink.

We recently stayed in Marigot Bay and ate three times at the Hurricane Hole restaurant.
The food was great (fish, pizza and burger), the service was excellent and Yvan the manager was very helpfull and attentive.
At dinner, we had music and the singer Sally Elwin and her husband were pretty talented.
Each evening at this restaurant was charming.
Our thanks to the staff.

We recently stayed in Marigot Bay and ate three times at the Hurricane Hole restaurant.
This restuarant is part of the Hotel Discovery at Marigot Bay,which is in turn a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
It's location is lovely, with a wonderful view of the yachts moored there.
Our experiences here ranged from fair to totally unacceptable.
The food is good(ribs, fish and chips, steaks),but not great-however the service here is very poor.
One night we waited half an hour for bread and forty-five minutes for our entrees.
When they arrived the potatoes were cold. The server asked if we wanted them replaced and that took another half hour. This time they had been nuked and were inedible.
We explained that we did not wish to pay the service charge, which is added automatically.
When I went upstairs to speak to the manager, I fell on a wet floor.
There were two employees who witnessed this accident, but no one offered to help me up.
After speaking to the manager, who did comp our dinner, we proceeded home in a taxi which she ordered.
However, she did not inform the taxi driver that the hotel was paying and the driver argued with my husband and expected to be paid at the end of the journey.
This evening was a nightmare, but could have ended very differently had this hotel hired professional staff and management.
A Leading Hotel of the World? I don't think so. We will never return to this establishment.
