“Best waterpark in Nigeria”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

The atmosphere at Tinapa waterpark is vibrant and even though it is usually quite busy, everyone is clearly having fun and this makes for a really good day out. Join in a game of beach volley ball, have diving competitions with complete strangers or just glide along in the lazy river. Some issues with indiscipline on the slides as this could do with some staff making sure people do not climb up the slides. Also, the food on offer is quite poor however most people pack a huge picnic anyway.

“The prefered locations.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

I will rather say, this is the best Leisure and tourism location in Nigeria. It’s about 15 minutes from the City of Calabar, which makes it the best for a meeting and preferred event destination. It is also the best and most peaceful destination in the Country of Nigeria. One can walk on the streets without fear of attack. The staff and people of this Resort are very friendly and nice.
If you want a quite location where you could reconnect with your family and love ones, then Tinapa is where to go. You have everything you need in one location. I was surprised, throughout my stay, there was not power blink. I use to hear there is power issues in the resort, but i discovered there run their own power supply different from the major greed.
The internet hotspot in almost every location was very helpful. It is my preferred location in all of Nigeria for events, meetings and leisure.

“empty mall”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2012

This is a so called mall, well built, but in the middle of the bush, without electricity most of the time ( except X-mas) and a few shops and banks ( many, this is Nigeria!) not worthwile the ride.
It seems to be a real White Elephant

“You've got to visit the Waterparks at Tinapa!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2011

Great pool. lots of space to change, really quiet on weekdays, so worth it if you are learning to swim...everything is there, good changing rooms, a lazy river, slides, rides, helpful staff....it was great fun and well worth the entry fee of N1,000 (about 7.5 dollars)!

“Obviously the most fun filled destination in NIGERIA.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

It turned out as diverse as rhe interests of my friend and i were, we all found something we loved in Calabar. Calabar's well paved roads which make the city totally accessible, contrasted sharply with the ever busy Lagos roads and gave a "hell"of a skating and biking experience. I particularly enjoyed the marina resort and tinapa warter parks. what really pleases me about the Calabar brand is the variety of options vis-a- vis boatrides, carnivals, guided tours, good hotels, good food, meseums, night life, mountain climbing etc... all of it at pocket friendly prices.
