We dined at Coba while staying at the Viceroy. While there were few guests at the resort the restaurant still served their full menu. The view is beautiful and the decor couldn't be more luxe. The service is exactly what you'd expect in any area of the Viceroy. Impeccable!

After just returning from Anguilla, I have to comment on Coba. I expected "out of this world food and service" for this restaurant and from Viceroy. It did not meet that expection, however I was not disappointed either. I started with the field green salad with candied pecans and goat cheese, which was very good. For my main meal, I chose the braised short ribs. They were good, but lacked something in the flavor department. Plus, they were not as hot (temperature-wise) as I would have enjoyed. My husband chose the grilled mahi-mahi, which was average, nothing special. We chose to skip dessert since we weren't impressed.
I too have to agree with other commenters on the decor. It is definitely not with the Anguillian theme/atmosphere. Such random stuff all around. Very dark, low lighting everywhere you go at night when at Viceroy. Something else to note...unless you do an early dinner, you will not see the views that Coba can offer. We had a 7:45 reservation and it was too dark outside to even notice the ocean view.
Overall, I would recommend Coba. However, don't expect to be wowed. It was a good meal at decent prices for Anguilla.

We're happy that you recommend Coba to those visiting Viceroy Anguilla. Should you visit again, I would recommend you visit the bar at Sunset Lounge and enjoy the beautiful ocean views and vistas of the sun setting on Anguilla's blue waters before nightfall. There are many wonderful restaurants on the island; we will make sure that each one of our diners has the full Viceroy "wow" experience.

Just walking up to Coba you know you are in for a treat , hopefully you called for reservations and asked to be seated on the tables close to the wall by the water, the view is dramatic and just beautiful. The food was great to, my favorite is flank steak and they had it on the menu and it was fabulous with a side of risotto we also ordered snapper and that was great to. Before heading to dinner at Coba get there with some time to have a cocktail at the pool bar , very cool bar decor and art out there to check out you eyes will be please if you like this sort of thing.

Meals at Coba is delicious, that's a definite! The surroundings set the dining experience over the top. Whether you are seated close to the water and enjoying ocean views or admiring Kelly Wearstler's interior design, you're going to be enthralled by what you see.

The Viceroy is a beautiful hotel and well worth a visit. Coba is in a lovely spot and is also elegant. It is a steak place and the steak was somewhere between a really good steakhouse and an Outback

We're happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope that you will return soon - and dine at Coba again. The restaurant has been completely revamped, with a new chef and menu. One of the steak dishes you might enjoy next time is our Cowboy Ribeye 18 oz. with Spicy Broccoli, Wild Mushrooms and Vegetables. Delicious!
