We really enjoyed our 4 night 5 day stay here. The service was friendly and helpful. We loved that we could walk to the beautiful white sand beach of meads bay with a awesome swimming and great snorkeling. I recommend borrowing the snorkel gear and walking down the beach to the east end and snorkeling under the hotel which is being updated! Also, we loved walking to blanchards beach shack for lunch, blanchards for dinner and the sunset lounge at the viceroy.

Room Tip: Ask for the ocean view superior room, has a view of the ocean. Large and sunny with lots of windows!

Just returned from a first stay at Anacaona. I traveled with my sister, her boyfriend and a friend and we had a fantastic time. Anacaona is a lovely Caribbean decorated and themed hotel. If you're picturing the Marriott, this hotel isn't right for you.

Before we even arrived, I was communicating with staff on Facebook and they were responsive and welcoming. When I arrived, I truly felt like family. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was above the main lobby and had a living room, and kitchen. We didn't use the stove but the full size refrigerator came in handy keeping our beverages cold. We also had a double sink and a lovely air conditioner and ceiling fans. We had a coffee maker but didnt use it. We just walked down stairs and took a few cups of complimentary coffee up to our room.

Staff was amazing. As friendly as could be. They addressed you by name and always asked how your day was. Pools were clean and a great way to cool down before getting ready for dinner.
We ate breakfast there most days. Great good. Especially the rum French toast and potato pancake eggs Benedict.
Don't miss Thursday Mayoumba lnight. Great cultural performance and fantastic buffet for a very inexpensive price.
Overall, Anacaona is a steal. Amazing price, amazing people, amazing memories!

Quiet, private and lots of fun! I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and each time gets better. It's a small hotel just off the beach with a pretty good restaurant and two pools. The beach is only a few feet away and is shared with the Vice Roy hotel. The pizza here is amazing! Great for when you want to order in and just hang in your room! Rental housing available and very affordable for longer stays!

Room Tip: Not may kids activities besides the beach, be prepared to keep the preoccupied!

Just returned from our second stay at Anacaona Boutique Hotel. We were welcomed back as if we never left.Beginning with the general manager, Delroy, and staff( Raquel, Tia, Kenisha, Esternell, Leah, Dorthea) who go above and beyond to make you feel like you're not just another guest, but truly part of the Anacaona family.
The suite was well appointed, attended, and extremely clean. Love the hand made goat's milk soap!
Rented a car through the resort and were able to explore other beaches, restaurants, and notable sights. Even ran into a Philadelphia Flyers fan at Rendezvous Bay.
By far the best value on an expensive island .
Looking forward to return stay next year-we do feel this is our second home!

This is my third time at the Anacaona and each and every visit (albeit for Business) proves that this is one beautiful place to visit. What makes this place special is first and foremost their Staff. Rooms are great; bedding is fantastic and the beach is just awesome.... Just love it when you can see your toes when you are up to your shoulders in the water. I certainly will be back.

We just returned from a much too brief stay at the Anacaona June 29-July 2. We had a wonderful stay. What makes this hotel so magical is the staff - very warm and welcoming and go above and beyond with great customer service. Kenisha, who works the front desk/concierge and Tweetie in the restaurant, really stood out, but everyone was awesome. I travel a lot being in the travel industry, so outstanding customer service and employees taking pride in their jobs is wonderful to find. The manager and staff cocktail reception they hold on Monday nights is a very nice touch. I was impressed that many of their employees showed up - from landscaping to housekeeping to wait staff to front desk to the GM and the owner himself! Another thing that was impressive was that we decided to rent a car at last minute and we were able to rent it right there - we did not have to go into town and in fact, the rental agency they have the agreement with leaves cars with the Anacaona - very nice and convenient!

The hotel itself is nice - it's not the Viceroy, and I'm glad it's not - it keeps it local flavor and charm. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice furnishings. Ours was on the 2nd floor and we could see the ocean through the palm trees. No, the hotel is not beachfront, but the most amazing beach - Meads Bay - is just a few steps away down the path to the beach. It's very quaint with the gardens and the two pools are nice. The restaurant serves some fantastic food. Be sure to try the chefs special tomato pie! It does not disappoint! They grow their own tomatoes/veggies in their garden! Down the beach, there are several nice restaurants, the only one we ate at was Blanchards, which is very casual and inexpensive. Also, the hotel has it's own beach bar at the beach, service great drinks and food at lunch time. Chairs and umbrellas are also provided at the beach at no cost.

This was our first trip to Anguilla, but it most certainly won't be our last! The island is magical and the beaches are simply amazing! We can't wait to return to the island and stay at the Anacaona Boutique Hotel again! Thank you all for a wonderful stay and the great service!

Good service before, during and after my stay. Very convenient to viceroy (was there for a wedding), but much more personal and comfortable. The staff were very responsive to several emails I sent in advance concerning transfers from st Martin. They ordered a bike to be delivered one day and it worked out perfectly. And taxi service was prompt and courteous. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. And the rum punch at check- in was a nice treat. No complaints at all. Great stay.
