From the moment you land in st marteen and take the ferry over to Anguilla you will be stunned by the views of the water and mountains and surprised by the very friendly service of the ferry/taxi employees. We were so surprised by the genuine people we encountered on our way over to the resort. They truly just want to help you make it to wherever you are going and they really set the tone for the rest of our trip. So thank you to everyone over at the ferry’s!

After you ferry over which is about a 20-30 minute ride, you will need to take a taxi over to the resort which is about a 10-15 minute ride. One of the employees of the ferry services walked us over to a taxi where we met Harold. 5 stars for Harold as well! He is a very friendly and sweet older gentleman who gave us a ride to the four seasons. He made us feel comfortable and he gave us his card Incase we wanted to venture the island and he told us to call him anytime and he’d be more than happy to assist.

Once we arrived at the resort we were truly blown away by the view. The front desk is open to the ocean and it’s just beautiful. When you check in you are welcomed with a complimentary rum punch in these super cute little barrels.

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights and our stay was nothing short of amazing ! Our favorite places to hang were the sunset lounge, the adult pool and the half shell bar/beach. The resort itself is breathtakingly beautiful but the employees and service are what really stood out for us and made our stay so special! My fiancé and I got engaged on our first night there and we wanted to thank everyone for making it so extra special!

First we wanted to thank the whole events team, especially Melisha who is the events manager. She made sure our engagement was perfect and it truly was. She even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room with a heartfelt note to congratulate us again. Also shout out to Jerome who was our photographer who captured the moment so perfectly!

We wanted to thank James from IT who was able to provide us with a new SD card for our camera because ours stopped working. Thanks for saving the day so we could capture the beauty of the island!

Shaq made our engagement night unforgettable! We had dinner at sunset lounge right after the proposal and he congratulated us with champagne and he even told the live entertainer that we just got engaged and he dedicated and sang a song to us. During the song multiple servers came over and surprised us with a dessert plate with a sparkler candle ! Everything was so perfect that night ! Thank you Shaq and thank you to Omale360 who was the live entertainment. He was our favorite by far!!!

Caroma is the bartender at the half shell bar and she was the best ! She will create you the perfect cocktail based on your likes and personality. She even created the cocktail we plan to use for our wedding and wrote down the exact ingredients for it. Thank you Caroma!

Thank you to Chef Delano down on Meads Bay Beach! We came right before they were closing up and they had sold out of all of their crayfish but once Chef Delano saw how sad we were, he worked some type of magic and was able to make us a plate of crayfish! He is so nice and a great asset to the resort! Thanks Chef Delano:)

Thank you to Lashaina for sending us over a dessert plate to congratulate us after our breakfast at Coba and thank you to Sharlin for singing us a song at the table!

Thank you to Dean who is the manager at half shell! On the second day I was stung by fire coral (watch out for that on the rocks!) and Dean brought me the most beautiful plate of fresh aloe to help with the burning.

I can’t forget to thank our taxi driver again ! We loved our taxi driver Harold so much that we requested for him to drive us back to the ferry when we were leaving the island. We told him we got engaged and he sang “can’t help falling in love” to us and it was so sweet. Thanks Harold!!

Although this was my first time visiting Angulla, it will probably not be my last. The Four Seasons Anguilla is a beautiful property that illustrates the idea of a "relaxing vacation". Great property! Picturesque views! Wonderful accommodations! Great Staff!

My expectations were high given the very high prices of the resort. The room was spectacular as was housekeeping. Breakfast buffet was good; the fruit market was outstanding. The main pool was nice and never crowded. However, there were a little too many disappointments for me to give 5 stars. I had to ask 3 times over a 24 hour period to get bathrobes. Sometimes we had good service. Other times, we were virtually ignored, like our last day at the pool. It took 25 minutes and 3 requests to remind them about a single drink. We went to the sushi lounge on our last night. Waitress ignored us and I had to hunt for someone to pay. Sushi was good, menu was very limited. We also ate at the casual grill restaurant. Mahi Mahi and fried chicken was $100 and below average. Food and drink offerings were very expensive, choices limited and the offerings were just ordinary.Taxis are ridiculously expensive. The resort should have a shuttle service, even if it's not free, it would be convenient. You are taken to property's front entrance by golf cart and that's it. We went to a fantastic Mexican restaurant off property which was a 3 minute walk, which was not ideal for 2 females having to walk in the road with part of the road completely dark and devoid of streetlights. Same thing with going to another good restaurant; paid $40 for a taxi or could walk back on a pitch black beach. Finally, in traveling back to St. Martin there should be a package that the resort offers - hotel to airport.
