“tasty mexican cuisine”

Tasty fresh and spicy, Very good food, no wonder it always seems packed. Portions are huge so easy to share a dish. Large range of tempting dishes, and leave room for the excellent chocolate pudding!

“good but quick meal”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

The food was very good but it was more like a local neighborhood restaurant than a vacation spot. We were in and out in an hour. The Viceroy will take you most of the way there, and then it's a 5 minute walk from the hotel entrance. Ask them to pick you up at the road when you come back, as we ran in to some barking dogs which were a bit scary in the dark with no one around.

Spinach artichoke dip - probably the best any of us have ever had! So gooey and yummy. Even good once its a little cold. We loved it at the restaurant, and couldn't stop talking about it during the rest of our trip. So for the Super Bowl party we had at our villa, we ordered 5 servings and it was all gone! Delicious!!

“Surprisingly good Mexican”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We couldn't imagine enjoying Mexican food on Anguilla, but Picante is GREAT, nice ambiance, good service, excellent food. I loved my mango margarita...but wanted more and made the mistake of ordering "el jefe"--which proved to be about 32 ounces of margarita. The people there were kind and funneled my leftover drink into an empty tequila bottle...This gives new meaning to "doggie bag"--I enjoyed my margaritas back on my beach for the next couple of days!

“Plan several trips to Picante while visiting Anguilla- our favorite restaurant on the island.”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Arrive at Picante and sit at the bar for an amazing Picante signature Margarita. The bartenders are great at what they do and are friendly and truly enjoy their jobs. We were on the beautiful island of Anguilla for eight days and went back again and again to Picante because the food is that delicious. My husband loved the seafood enchiladas. I got hooked on the chicken nachos on our second trip and had them again on the third trip, as well. Picante is closed on Tuesday's, or I would have had a forth trip.
