We ordered $60 worth of delivery from Tsunami...it was the worst food We have ever eaten from an Asian restaurant. The House Special Wor Won Ton had nothing in it that I'd consider special, and the broth is salty canned chicken stock. The wontons did not taste homemade, and the shrimp was not deveined. the BBQ pork was not marinated and tasted very bland, with no char marks to suggest it was even bbq'd. There was a sugary sauce squeezed from a plastic bottle on it. The pork kabobs (recommended by the lady on the phone...supposed to be Phillipino style) were also coated with the same bottle squeezed sugar sauce. The seafood Tempura was not fried in light oil and had a thick greasy batter on it. A third of this was some kind of mystery fish that tasted like freezer burnt pollock. The Tobiko (flying fish egg) nigiri sushi was rolled up like maki, but uncut. The Tobiko itself tasted old and soft. The Tekki (tuna) Maki wasn't terrible...but all the rolls were the diameter of a quarter, and falling apart because they were not sealed. The sushi rice tasted funny...hope they aren't using aspartame in it.
This place serves greasy deep fried sugar sauce food with no hint of culinary inspiration. Two light eaters killed $60 easily but were only left with a gut ache and the cheap taste of low quality oil. Luckily they can't screw up a prepackaged Fortune cookie. Very dissapointed.

We used to eat here all the time back a few years ago. My husband and I went there when it was under new management and the service was horrible, we could literally hear the microwave door opening and closing and then our plates of food came out! Not impressed anymore!

We just ate there and received sub par food with bad service. We tried a little of everything and left vowing we would never go back again.

Just off the top of my head, here is a list of reasons why this was the worst date night ever:

- Bad service. The waitress had no skills, did not make us feel welcome to eat there, and didn't even know what "miso soup" was when we ordered. We ordered soup and did not receive a spoon to eat it with, or plates to put our food on. We saw one of our dishes waiting on the counter ledge for ten minutes before she brought it to us -- and we were the only people dining there. By the time we got it, it was cold. Last time we ate there, we asked questions to a different waitress about menu items and she had no idea what was in them. Totally not helpful.

- Long wait for food. We waited 50 minutes from ordering before we even received our entrees. This wasn't a one-off either -- last time we ate here it was the same thing. In fact, last time we received a single plate of rice for ten people to share, and had to wait half an hour for the next dish to come out.

- Suspicious looking dishes. The sushi was almost unpalatable and didn't even have anything good in it. It was warm and didn't taste fresh and was filled with dried-out carrot shavings, wtf? The sweet and sour pork was clearly the cheapest mangiest pork they could find as it was tough and stringy... not pleasant or delicious at all.

- Poorly kept restaurant. We sat at a table with no forks, knives, or napkins and shreds of one person's used chopsticks lying on the table. We had to steal napkins and forks from another table so we could eat.

- Our place mats had bear word puzzles but they didn't have an answer key so we never found out what "bear <--" means.

We did enjoy the assorted tempura, egg foo young and miso soup (once I finally got a spoon) but it wasn't worth the price or the ridiculous wait time. If it was a busy restaurant I would have been understanding of the wait time and the forgetfulness of staff. As it was, we were the only couple dining there, it was empty and for good reason. They clearly prioritize their take out orders over their dining patrons so I will not be returning.

The place needs a facelift badly but that doesn't reflect on the great food.

The food here is good, tasty and cheap. Three of us left full of food for $40, and the quality was very good. If you like wine, take your own, if their food was like their wine they would go broke.
