We stayed in Vastergard at the start and end of a bespoke cycle tour organised by the owner Tom Carling. The accommodation is in a converted barn with communal areas for he guests, a mezzanine with comfy sofas and beer and wine available on an honesty system (and at some of the best prices in Finland). The rooms are en-suite (good products in the bathroom) and are very comfortable. Some also have outdoor areas. We slept like logs and there was not a sound to be heard at night. Tom and his family provide wonderful evening meals (we particularly enjoyed the sushi) and are very welcoming. He helpfully arranged a day trip to nearby Pensar island for us and ensured that our two weeks in the archipelago and Aland went without a hitch. A memorable place, a memorable holiday.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have private outdoor areas and some have their own cooking facilities. Tom will advise about these

Lovely B&B accommodation in beautiful, idyllic surroundings. We cycled round the Turku Archipelago and this was an ideal stopping point. It was an 8km cycle to the nearest restaurant for dinner but it was worth it!

The rooms were cozy, super clean, and comfortable The food was delicious and home made bread every morning at breakfast was amazing. A special thank to Mr. Tom for being extremely friendly, considerate, attentive and seemed to take a genuine interest in our wellbeing.

This was my second time staying with a friend in this wonderful "Bed and Breakfast" -place during the cycling tour. The rooms are really nice and cosy, and very clean. The beds are comfortable and in our room "Beata" there is a door leading to outside patio, we we could sit and enjoy the warm summer evening. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was delicious including this time coffee, juice, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, warm bread, cheese, vegetables, homemade jam and cookies.
I have only positive experience of this place, and it is really good value of your money.
