Go for a walk along the beach all the way to the cliffs. You will find steps that lead up tot he golf course. The view from up there is stunning !

Awesome body surfing in some heavy duty waves! Beach is large, soft and stretches a far way in either direction - great for walks. Waves are really fun if you can handle them. Not great for small children. Plenty of stray dogs laying about, and vendors with typical carvings, etc. but better prices on the public beaches than your resort or Taino Market, for sure. The restaurant cooks up what the fisherman brings in and we could have had fresh lobster, red snapper or shrimp for lunch. We opted for pina coladas in the pineapple - shredded, delicious pineapple with some REAL coconut milk and a little rum. Now THAT's a pina colada. A beautiful day spent chatting with locals about the hotel that is being built and their mixed feelings about the changing landscape but the thought of more jobs. Visit this beach while it's still au natural!

Love this beach! Clean great staff depending on the time of year the water may be calm or wavy. Food kiosks are delicious fresh fish!! Can't go wrong with lunch or dinner on the beach. Beautiful place we received a $
20 min massage for about $US5 per person. Braided hair for about $US7.

Definitely recommended to couples so goes family all of the above!

We stopped here after diving the cenotes, on our way back to Cabarete. Thankfully, our dive center knew which kitchen to ask for (#12) and we had a delicious meal and the BEST pineapple drinks. We meant to ask for the drinks with rum, but there must have been a miscommunication because they were definitely non-alcoholic but they were sublime. A few of us had fish, a few chicken and one lobster - nothing was a disappointment. We ate on the beach which is beautiful - lovely view. there was a lot of people coming up to our table trying to sell us a variety of items but left us alone after a 'no gracias'.
