Our second trip to heaven on earth. We arrived at Sunrise Villa to the same familiar smiling faces and clapping hands. Greeted with hugs and all around love from the incredible staff. Ramon had beautiful cocktails waiting and our bags disappeared to our private villas within seconds. The hospitality never ends

We traveled with a group of six couples as we did the year before and this year we stayed in the Samana Suite. Trust me....all of the private villas are absolutely stunning but this one is almost beyond words. Sits at the peak of the property on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. Private veranda, gardens, outdoor shower and beautiful jacuzzi tub.

The property was designed perfectly to accommodate hanging out as a group or retreating to a little private peacefulness. A tropical jungle beach is all of yours to enjoy. It is just steps down the beautiful coral cliffs that the villa sits on. Mr. Chris will take care of having chairs and refreshments brought down for you....it's a perfect spot to enjoy some quiet time or exploring. This is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited by far.

You can hear the lunch bell from the beach! When you hear the bell it is time to feast. Chef Frank and his kitchen staff put out a spread every meal that will leave you more than satisfied. Full on breakfast everyday....local seafood and meats ,fresh veggies and fruits, pastas and stews are all plentiful and delicious. He is an amazing cook and will cater to any of your culinary needs with a smile.

Many nights spent singing and dancing over a few cocktails at the Manana Bar. Floating in the hot tub was my favorite pastime this year...especially in the evening. We visited a few local restaurants and beaches. This is all coordinated by staff....no worries. They were fun but you really do not need to leave the Villa....ever!!

WOW! We booked Sunrise Villa for our destination wedding without never having been there...or to the DR. We couldn't have been happier! Our closest friends and family stayed there with us and we were all impressed with the views, the staff, the accommodations, the beach! Simply breathtaking! Our wedding was the most perect, beautiful event I could have wished for and it was all so stress free to plan it! We just left yesterday and already we are yearning to go back. You won't be disappointed when you choose Sunrise Villa for your next vacation!

Sunrise Villa is a "slice of heaven". Our family of ten adults and ten grandchildren (ages 2 to 13) had a fabulous time enjoying the fantastic views, luxurious accommodations, spacious gathering areas, and great food. A very pleasant, hard-working staff, who catered to our every need, made our week-long 50th anniversary celebration a very memorable occasion with activities for all ages, special events, and gourmet menus. We are planning a return trip.

We stayed at the villa on an all girls vacation. The grounds and rooms were beautiful. The staff provided excellent service and was gracious and friendly. Our chef prepared delicious dishes including lobster and steaks and a few exotic items. Not only did the bartender make great drinks, but he was fun and even gave us Latin dance lessons! One of our girls suffered an injury and they had an excellent doctor out to treat her in a matter of minutes. We were there over the 4th of July and the villa did a bonfire on the beach for us and had a trio of musicians come and play for us. The villa two doors down had amazing fireworks we got to enjoy! Our host, Chris came every day to make sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. Altogether, it was a wonderful trip and I highly recommend Sunrise Villa.

The location is perfect. It is a ride from the airport but well worth it. We organized. There were a nice van with local bar, water, and proseco to drink on our drive. The drive is beautiful! You enter the house and the manger (one of the 3 owners) Chris greets you with the other staff members. They take the luggage to your room and show you how to do the AC ect. It was like being in a hotel. Sandy, is the manger on property during the day and mangoes the housekeeping girls, cook, and massage therapist. She is a delight with a wonderful smile. Romon is the bar tender/body guard that took is on excursions and lunch and dinner. The food was amazing! We also would be sitting at the bar saying" I wish we could have a bacon cheeseburger or pizza" and they it appeared and was wonderful. The local pizza has fresh homemade cheese they use and it is devine! The house is open with different villas on the grounds. All the rooms are huge and beautiful and 2 with outside showers. The villa sits up from the beach with steps leading to the beach to take a walk or swim. The Villa package offers a lunch on the beach with lobster, chicken, rice , salad, fried fish shrimp and more at a local beach. They also take you to a local restaurant we went to Mannie's go there it was wonderful. Its cool because it makes you leave the Villa to see their culture. We also went to Dudo Lake and it was nice as well. Roman is a wonderful bartender and the house wine was good as well. The staff was so kind and nice. They will do anything for you. They even brought a local doctor one night when our Aunt cut her hand and needed sutures. It is well worth the price and it is very relaxing. The pool is huge and the hot tube is enormous. You must get a massage up on the cliff a short walk from the Villa. There is a covered hut in the open breeze and you can hear the waves while enjoying a massage. They also do manicures and pedicures that were nice as well. They also do a bonfire on the beach on night with a disco ball and we danced on Just 4th with fireworks. Sunrise Villa was exceptional in every way - the location, the property, the staff and the amenities. The rooms are as comfortable and clean as any high-end hotel. The common areas (of which there are many) were lovely and easily accommodated our group of 14. The meals consisted of a wide variety of foods, plentiful and expertly prepared. There was a full-time bartender who not only met all our beverage needs, but added a lot of fun and local color to our trip. One of the owners stopped by every morning to see if there was anything we needed and immediately responded to any requests we had. The property itself was beautifully maintained -- the lawns and common areas cleaned and polished before we got up every morning -- and in the event of a rain shower, the lounge cushions were picked up prior to the shower and placed back out again immediately afterwards. The pool was refreshing and convenient to all of the rooms and common areas. The owners offer several events/excursions that are on them such as the beach bonfire, the dinner in town, and the trip to the beach with a beachside picnic (fully-catered meal including lobster and shrimp). I recommend you take advantage of all three. Can't wait to return!
