This B&B is nestled in the village of Pernes-les-Fontaines east of Avignon. Absolutely delightful. A young Belgian couple has renovated an old home in the village on a tiny narrow street. Through the door in the wall and you are in a hideaway where Patrick and Cecile will see to your every need. their family lives in adjoining quarters. From the large reception room it's up broad stairs to the rooms or left to the breakfast room, 24-hour coffee room and lovely relaxing back yard with chaise lounges and pool. We waited years to get to Provence and THIS was a perfect place to realize our dream.

The village is located such that you are out of town in one minute and on your way to villages like Gordes, Fountain-de-Vaucluse, Roussillon and the Luberon area. Your hosts will help you with your plans and provide reservations to tour a winery or eat in local restaurants.

The village around you is worth seeing in its own right. Narrow curving streets, nearby bakery, fruit store, restaurants, ice cream shop with outside seating under giant sycamores, post office, bank - - just a great thriving but uncrowded village to enjoy!

We stayed a week and it was perfect.
