“Busy!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

We went to the brewery to do the tour and decided to eat here too. The bistro was very busy, even for a Thursday afternoon, but there were plenty of staff and we were served quickly with what can only be described as food worthy of upper class establishments. Well done to all concerned.

“Great food and even better beer!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

this was our first time to the brewery and the experience was excellent. we started with a wonderful tour which was very interesting. after a few samples of the quality beer we settled down at our table. the menu was extensive and it took a while to choose what to have.
the food arrived swiftly and the portions were generous. the food was excellent and we would recommend going back. the beer batter was amazing!

“Interesting brewery tour and good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Went on a cold Sunday for a tour followed by a snack in the Bistro. The tour was very interesting and the guide was excellent. Since the tour price two third of a pint samples in the bar we decided to stay and have a snack. Pity that the only snacks were actually starters on a Sunday but the beer pancakes filled with chicken ham and leek covered with cheese sauce were lovely. The bistro was quite full of diners but the service was very attentive and the staff very friendly. A great plce to go if you're in the Masham area.

“A great Sunday lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

A great place to have Sunday lunch, really nice ambience and good food.

Obviously with it being the Black Sheep Brewery the choice of beers is limited to BS, but I'm not complaining, most of the brews they do are available on draft.

There is also a little shop where you can purchase gifts associated with the brewery and surrounding area.

Well worth a visit on a slow Sunday afternoon.
