We stumbled across this place by accident about 8 years ago and have been returning ever since. We’ve stayed overnight a couple of times and we’ve had dinner but our favourite is lunch as you get to enjoy the beautiful views over the sea. We turned up on a Tuesday lunchtime out of school holidays but the place was still packed and we got one of the last tables in the main salon. It’s always popular with the locals, which is why we love it. It’s uncompromisingly French with brisk (but friendly) service. The food is exceptional; really well-cooked and presented. It’s not cheap – our bill was 90 euros for two adults and two children – but it’s worth it. It’s a firm favourite of ours and we’ll always return when we’re in the area.
