“Great boarding!”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

The Latemare Ski Center is an excellent snowboarding destination. Almost exclusively chairlifts. Lovely broad pistes for beginners. Super relaxed treeruns and awesome parks. Although for the whopper park you'd have to go for the close by Cermis (half our skibus).

“Top quality slopes in Italy”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

When ski quality is important, Italy is one of the best places with large, sunny and smooth slopes, kind people, good food, good ski lifts, nice hotels. We use to go in this ski area (Ski Center Latemar) for 17 years! In the past we tried sometimes other places as well... mainly Austrian ski resorts - but we returned always in Latemar. The slopes are connecting 3 villages: Pampeago, Predazzo and Obereggen. From all three you can access the same area. And the real "gourmet" skier can taste the night ski experience as well - only "pour les connaisseurs"......
after an active day I warmly recommend you to stop for a lunch break at 2200 m altitude at Mayr Alm Restaurant and do not miss the Apfel Strudel and the Bombardino...

“Excellent for kids”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

We've been to this "attraction" with our 4yr old son and 2yr old daughter. It's actually an amazing activities park at 1600m. It has tons of things to do with children of all ages - the trails, the coaster, the kids' park and playground (with lots of creative activities), the coaster. Some of the activities are for free, like the trails and for others one needs to pay. There's also the cable car that gets there (the only way) that needs ticket - the good part is that kids under seven get a free ride.
Of the two fun trails for the kids we've done the "Dragon Forest". It is a perfect example of how a mountain trail can be made fun for kids - look at my photos - there are dragon artefacts all along the ~1hr walk; there's a notebook that the kids can fill in along the trail; the trail itself is quite wide and not to steep, doable with most prams and it has benches from time to time.
Our kids had a great time on the playground, but unfortunately they were too small for the coaster (5yr minimum)
A great day outdoors with the kids if you happen to be in the area.
And the cable car station has a huge parking so no problem there either.
We were just disappointed of not having more time to spend there...
