This hotel, from what information I could gather, is set up where by individual people own each apartment and furnish it. Although all apartments come with generally the same features & amenities, the decor can change dramatically. We were on the top floor in a early 90's furnished apartment whilst my in-laws were in a more dated apartment on the 4th floor. In our room we had tasteful art and furniture that made our stay comfortable. My in-laws (who were quite ok with their room), did have heavy religious decorators who had put catholic crosses everywhere throughout the apartment (3 above the bed even). The bathrooms were small but very warm, clean and felt like the most modern part of the apartment.
The kitchens were minimalistic, but could easily satisfy a weeks stay of cooking simple foods on a stove. Everything was very clean, in working order and felt roomy enough to stay a while (we only were there 2 nights though).

For the english travellers/speakers, this might be an interesting experience as its not really catering for the international tourist although every attempt was made to make me feel comfortable (everyone else in my travel group spoke fluent German). The food was more German than 'hotel generic' which I enjoyed and each night they alter from a menu to a buffet.

The breakfast variety was wonderful, fresh, plentiful and had lots to choose from (though it felt slightly overcrowded around the 9am mark and looked like ants scrambling over a scrap of food).
The location was great - just far away enough from the town to have great views from the hotel, but close enough to walk in winter when it was cold.
NB. They charge entry fee to the Hindelang Christmas markets (which we though was strange).

Room Tip: Ask for a room that has newly been refurbished.
