Had a holiday here for 11 days,
Family run business and they couldn't be any nicer I really feel for all that run this hotel because they work so hard. rooms are basic but good for the base, we went out every day and night so didn't bother us! Very noisy at night time and so are others that stay there with no consideration to others. Some people who stayed there were so rude to the staff and it was embarrassing to be English!
The bar staff are very rude if you don't eat or drink there every night they don't want to no you.there food was very poor so we didn't eat there after the first try.
The reception staff are so welcoming so it's a Shame really.
I will not be returning to To here again

Loved these apartments. Can't fault any part of our 2 week stay. We were in the block a cross from the main apart, with a lovely pool. Close to all the biz,a 5 min walk to the beach and spotless spacious rooms and the balcony was massive. The staff especially Brian made us feel like royalty. It was my mums birthday and they arranged a surprise cake for her and they paid half of it. Can't thank them enough. Fabulous.x

my partner booked this hotel as they offered free place and being a typical bloke jumped in and took it, we got 2 weeks for 4 of us for £1049 including transfers and baggage.
when we first arrived i was annoyed to say the least, i like the big hotels with big pools etc. this hotel is small with a medium pool. the rooms are tiny with not enough room for anything and no ironing board. as it was late we just went to bed and said we would look properly in the morning. as it looked clean enough we decided to give it a few days and then change hotel if i still didnt like, the rest of my family loved the hotel. always bed available, staff friendly so we decided to stay here

i cant comment on the evening food or entertainment as we went out every night, but the snack menu was ok. you didnt have to move from your sun bed if you didnt want to as the staff come around and take your order, you can run up a bill and pay when you go back to your room or pay as you go, the prices in the hotel are cheap enough. 6lira for lrg efes, 1 lira for a bottle of water. 4 lira for chicken burger or hamburger 6-9 lira for sandwhiches.

the area was fab, we was a short walk away from bars, shops etc. no matter which way you left it was only minutes before you got to any of them.

there are 3 pools the bar pool which is medium in size but be carefull as its deep, im 5ft 4 and i couldnt reach the floor (even on tippy toes) there is a small pool in the block across the road that is the same depth. and imo the kiddies pool is none existant, its a little square thing that wont fit many kiddies in. mine are teens so that didnt bother me

now seen as i didnt like the hotel at first my opinion change a bit through the first week, as it was small you was called by your name by the staff, and you kept seeing the same people and got chatting around the hotel, the maids did come around every day, and as mentioned the location is ideal.. i would go here again BUT only for a cheap price..

Myself and my partner have just returned from a week at the Albatros and we are already looking to return. We chose the Albatros partly based on the low price and also relied on its good reviews via Trip Advisor. We were NOT disappointed. This is a lovely small friendly apartment which is all we needed. The rooms were basic but clean. We were self-catering so didnt spend much time at all in our room as we were out and about plenty. The pool and bar area were clean. Sun loungers ALWAYS available. Food and drinks here were lovely and the staff even better. They certainly made our holiday. Cannot speak highly enough of them all. Turkish night at the Albatros well worth going to!!! The apartment is well sited so as its not too close to the hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance of the bars, shops, resteraunts and beach. We have recommended the Albatros to family and friends and we will definitely be returning. Cannot fault this place, especially for the price we paid for the holiday, absolute bargain!

We stayed in the apartments for two weeks at the start of September, got back today

When we arrived we was kindly greeted by a member of staff at 3am, upon check in we was very surprised how small the reception was. It has a desk and three chairs with a table

Getting into our apartment, we was in the old block across the road which we was happy about
The room was huge, had a lounge/kitchen area with a bedroom which had two single beds

The bathroom is more like a wet room, the shower was fine with hot water

The faults of the room was the base of the beds had sick or toilet stains on them (nice hygiene there)
Also the bedroom door had 6 panels of glass where one was broken and had not been removed so very sharp
The bedding gets changed twice a week (do you need it changed any more?)
The cleaner is in every morning, yes you do get dirty feet but this is because it is a dusty area

We did like that the main door was locked at midnight

Overall we was happy to sleep there and couldn't complain at the price we paid

Things to note

- the room is very basic, it's somewhere to sleep and if you want to cook
- the pools are deep 1.6-1.7 metres
- the mosque goes off every morning at 5 am, 1pm
- no food or drink allowed by the pools unless brought from the hotel
- you can only use wireless if you buy drinks from them
- the walk to the beach is a simple 10-15 minutes (we did this at least twice a day)
- music finished at midnight every night

I would not recommend for families, some others would but I would not take my family there
It would be a good place if you want somewhere to sleep and it to be cheap

There are shops and bars everywhere and lots of little shops, there is a huge kipa supermarket down the road which is great, eating out is very cheap and if you walk to the beach the restaurants are very nice

People speak good English and are kind unless you walk into shops were you will mostly get hassle, offer a stupid price and that gets them away

Marmaris is lovely and clean, very busy but you get the weather
