“Very Average”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Very average, the rooms were basic but clean, the staff are friendly enough but don't inspire you to spend much time in the hotel so we just used it as a base and for that purpose its good enough for the money. The price of food and drink is okay but you can get much better and cheaper by going for a short walk to the many bars and restaurants nearby. Most hotels of this type are cheap and cheerful and make most of their money from food and drink rather than the room booking, this hotel needs to work harder on its hospitality to keep its guests in the hotel, no free wifi (standard in most) no 2 for 1’s on drinks (standard in most) food only average but charging same price as restaurants serving excellent food 2 mins walk away. We intend to go back to Marmaris next year but we wont re-book here, it was okay but there are better hotels than this for the same money.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach front, and has a fair sized pool with a pool bar. The rooms are basic but clean, with twin beds and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The staff at the hotel are lovely and very helpful. There is also a small shop within the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view!

We've been to Turkey numerous times so we know what to expect. You do have to weigh up how much you pay for the accomodation before making a negative opinion based on what star it is. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, the sheets and towels were changed every 3 days and the bar staff are really helpful and good fun. The pool area is lovely and sunny with plenty of cusioned sun beds. It's a great location with plenty of local restaurants and the beach front about 15min walk away. Overall great value for money.

We have no real complaints about the hotel although we did feel that it was suffering from end of season blues, the pool area wasn't cleaned while we were there and steadily things were being packed away or turned off. However the same can be said for all of Marmaris to be fair and it didn't have a negative impact on our holiday, end of season has it's advantages, no kids, not quite so boiling and no need to get up crack of dawn for a sun bed!!

Worth noting the £30 a week for aircon and £15 for the safety box when budgeting.

Club Meridyen provided me and my other half with the best holiday we have ever had together! We went in June for 8 days. The staff made our holiday what it was. The men who run these apartments will go out of their way to put a smile on your faces and are always there to help. They were constantly making us laugh and the entertainment they put on at night was fantastic! We saw them as friends at the end of the holiday rather than staff. An example of them being so lovely and kindhearted would be when my boyfriend woke up with an sore ear due to water being trapped inside. We mentioned it to Oral downstairs and he got his dad to take us to the hospital straight away so he could get it syringed as Oral's dad knew a doctor there. This meant us not having to fork out on medical treatment and it was all done for nothing, we couldn't thank them enough! The food was reasonably priced and they had a wide variety with a nice restaurant to sit in.However, we would also recommend one called 'Romance' on the beach front. The pool was clean and we never had any trouble getting a sunlounger. Sitting in the sun was difficult though as it was boiling! If you like the beach then Marmaris beach isn't the best but we got told that Icmeler beach was much better, unfortunately we didn't have time to check this out. The location was perfect and we had everything we needed in a walking distance. There were a variety of restaurants close by and the beach front for other restaurants and shops were a 15 minute walk away. The rooms were cleaned every two days and the cleaner was always happy to help. They were spacious with a lovely balcony and they provided us with everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Also, the room was bug free! I would recommend you buy the air conditioning as it is definitely needed! Finally, I would advise anybody to take the mud bath! It was so relaxing, great fun and it improved my tan! The waterpark in the mountains is a 20 minute walk away and was a good afternoon out. Finally, the reception staff Tommy and Emrah were very helpful. We had an early checkout time but a late flight so after having a word with them they let us extend our checkout time for a small amount of money which helped us out loads.

I hope people give these apartments a chance as I believe you will really enjoy your stay here if you want a cheap holiday with a positive atmosphere. We hope to return next year and thankyou to the lads for making our stay as great as it was!

Miss you guys!
Kelsi and Tom from Manchester.

We arrived here and had a very pleasant welcome by Tommy at the front and the dude that works in the shop, cant remember his name. I must say the rooms where very basic but we had a very spacious balcony. The towels and bed sheets were cleaned every day although there was like barbecue sauce on the table in our room when we arrived and was there when we left. The shower was also broken in our room as if someone had previously dropped it. I never mentioned it though as I was still able to use it. On a positive note the staff in the place are extremely friendly and will entertain most nights by jumping around on the bar to the same music every night. I never paid a lot for the 10 day stay there so if anything it exceeded my expectations of what it would be like. There is one thing though, if you don't eat in their restaurant or drink in the bar they do not want know you. You may as well be a fly on the wall. Would I go back? Maybe, if i was looking for a cheap holiday then yes. It was never unbearable. The best member of staff in there is NJ, would always have a chat to you no matter what. Credit to the guy

Room Tip: We had studio room at the end next to the bar. Music is off at 12 so after that things quieten down.

We had a fantastic holiday at Club Meridyen, the guys really do make this hotel and we were up dancing on the bar learning routines with Ali on a number of the nights we spent there. Rooms are above average, better than any Greek island apartments I have stayed in, large, very clean and you can buy air con if you need it! Breakfast is extremely reasonable and so were evening meals and the lamb meat on the kebab I had was to die for! The pool and area around it are perfect and are kept spotless every day.. We got the bus into town for 2 Lira (less than a £) and it stops right outside the hotel, overall a great holiday for the money and we will definitively go back!
