We ave stayed in these appartments 5 times, the staff are all friendly, Ali the bar man is a star and has become a good family friend.. Rooms are excellent I have never stayed anywhere with so. Much room and so clean, well done the cleaners.. Pools are great, although you do need to be up early 6 to 7 am to get sunbeds they go fast with people getting up putting towels on and then gong back to bed until 10.30/11am.I get up early sit on my sunbed & read or have a snoze iwas amazed that every bed was taken but not one person was sat there. The bar area was lovely with plenty of tables and very clean. Well stocked bar & fantastic cocktails... Food was ok, inexpensive and ok if u couldnt be botherd to go out, if this improved im sure lts f people would stay at the apartments on a night, Nightly entertainment was good and different every night. Going out in Turkey is great with a wide range of bars & restaurants. A good 5 minute walk all down hill to local bars and bus at te bottom of hill will take u to town or other bars 10 mins away. Fantastic views over Marmaris while sitting on the baloney having a night cap makes the Lunamar a perfect place to stay.

We arived the 25th of September 2012 at six in the morning. Staff we good and were helpful. They were six of us who went 2 adults and 4 four kids. We both took two diffrent apartments. When we arrived staff were there to take our bags to rooms. We did not need to pay for loo roll as people has put. They only promblem was the hill as it was a killer for my dad as he has a walking stick and can't walk very well.Breakfeast were cheap and even when we had lunch it was cheap. The two pools were cleaned everyday when we were there we even got clean towles everyday and clean bedsheets everyday. We are thinking about going back in two years time. was'nt really sure about the lunamar when first arrived at 5pm but that was due to me having a panic attack on the way over really did want to move to another hotel but the next day after talking to our rep georgia we decided to stay and we are so glad we did!!!! it was so relaxing you did'nt have to get up early for sun beds there was still some available at 12 noon...the rooms were huge and always cleaned we had a studio with balcony and it was the best room i have ever stayed in...the pools were spotless and a really good size plenty of sun beds and the slide with the smaller pool was cool....the food was excellent we had breakfast most mornings and it was really good value but you could have what you wanted and the meals in the evening were excellent too the evening entertainment was very good...the waiters, bar staff were brilliant they could'nt do enough for you and always smiling thank you....the reception was good too they were always eager to help you...the air con is a must as we were there in august but it is a little pricey so take a little extra money to cover this....now for the hill i live on a hill so it was'nt a big surprise for me but it can be hard work walking up there especially when its hitting 50's but dont be put off because there's taxi's and the dolmas will drop you off at the bottom of the hill and we always had the restuarants to sometimes pick us up but they always took us home don.t be afraid to ask we always eat at the villa sol so cheap and excellent food thank you freddy and the waiters...well if you are not very mobile and can not face the hill i would say still go there becauce there's plenty of ways around it and it would be a shame to miss out on a brilliant and relaxing holiday...also we met some fantastic friends and i must admit all the guests staying there were lovely it must have been the lunamar atmosphere oh and the lifts worked!!!!! thank you lunamar for a brilliant holiday x

We (my husband and i) returned on the 11th September after 2 weeks. We have stayed at the Lunamar once before and booked purposely to go back there. The rooms are great size, clean and tidy. The maid service is also great, and will change towels & bedding whenever you ask them to rather than the stated "twice a week". The bar staff are very, very friendly, especially Johnny :) The food at the apartments is good and fairly priced, yet we only had breakfast and a couple of evening meals there, because we found a restaurant on Marmaris main street called "portofino" which is excellent and also reasonable prices, and the portions are massive!! Monroes at the bottom of the "hill" is a place to be avoided, although its the closest place to eat,we went on our 1st night and we were served raw food, and very wet watery spaghetti!! The last time we went to Lunamar Monroes was Carols, and it was a beautiful place to eat! The hill is not a problem,as some people state it is a nightmare! The daytime guy on reception is very, very helpful and friendly too :) We are planning to go back in September next year and are taking our Grandchildren.Great all round place to stay :)

Room Tip: Best to choose a room on higher floors for a great view of marmaris.

We have just come back from 11nights at this hotel. It was a very relaxing holiday clean rooms quiet hotel good food. We ate at monroes restaurant not recommended dirty cutlery forgot the cheese on the food and one night we went we got our drinks but never asked if we wanted food. We found the best place to eat was musties very good food and lovley welcoming staff. the dolumus bus goes from there to the front where you can find several very good restaurants . We went on the sun seekers trip it was lovley. The hill down from the hotel it not as bad as you think but not recommended for people with mobility difficulties. The air conditioning at the hotel is not as effective as it should be but essential as it it hot and does make the room cooler you can also ask for a fan. We would return to this hotel very nice

Well we arrived back on the 29th August after 10 days in the Lunamar. The rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony over the pools is super taking in all Marmaris. The Staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable with the Bar staff being extremely friendly and helpful. Due to the location, it is not as hot as Marmaris front and we had a gentle warm breeze across the pools which made it very pleasant. The sun came up around 7 to 7.30 and passed across the front of the apartments over both pools so they stopped in sun till around 6pm. There were plenty of sunbeds and the guests were very friendly. The prices at the food shops were cheap and the Pinar market is just a short walk away down the Hill and open all hours. The Dolmus ( bus service ) is good and priced at 2 TL within Marmaris. Now for the Hill !! If you come from Lincolnshire, you would call it a hill, but coming from Yorkshire, it only classes as a slight slope. Ok if you run up it might regret it, but if you just amble up it, it really isn't a problem. There is a gate into the apartments by the pool which is just at the bottom of the steepest bit of the hill anyway. Would we go back ? Certainly we would. We had a great relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: et a pool view with a balcony on the upper floors. The views are quite stunning both in the daytime...
