This creperie on the edge of Combourg is a must if you enjoy good food in a marvellous setting. We visited this restaurant on a wet Sunday evening but the welcome was just as warm as the huge log fire which greeted us.Indeed most of the meat cooking took place over the fire! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We ordered two galettes which were washed down with lovely cidre pression - for dessert we had the most enormous icecream - be warned the portions are pretty large. An excellent restaurant at a reasonable price!!Well worth a visit.ps the entrecote steak was the largest I've ever seen!

We thought that the fact that this was so popular with locals would be a good recommendation and so it proved.
The food was excellent with good gallettes and if you want some theatre, have a flambeed crepe.

Just a wee creperie, but with a huge fire within, and from the conservatory, a fab view of the chateau and the lake, just a perfect setting. The staff were very friendly and spoke slow and clear so we could practice our french.
Aperitifs came with pate and toast.
I ordered the house special potato dish - samba - turned out to be a baked spud, but with a tasty filling and simple well dressed salad. We also had a main salad and crepe for dessert. All very simple and not what we would have for an evening out at home, but all very delicious.
We had a lovely evening.
