vanilla cottage perfect in every way wonderful welcome and all the little extra touches made it way above any other 5 star we have stayed at

just how luxurious everything was bedding bathroom lovely toileteries etc.

pub at end of road was closed down for re furbishment .

So glad you enjoyed the cottage . Great news on the pub front is that the Chainbridge pub which you are referring to has been sold, has builders in ( end of May 2012)and is undergoing a full refurb so soon should be super ( and right on the riverbank too). Most guests stroll to the Black Bear which is on the same quiet lane as the cottage and around 3/4 mile. Really good food and downhill all the way back!
