The hotel is well located, around a 5 minute drive from the park entrance. All the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived and we enjoyed a complimentary local shot after checking in! We were only staying for one night so opted for the economy room, which turned out to not only be bigger but one of the best hotel rooms we stayed in during our 2 week visit to Croatia. It is well equipped and more than comfortable enough if you were to stay for a few nights. There wasn't much by way of restaurants in the area so we opted for the one next door. We had a nice meal at a very reasonable price, but as previous posts say, ensure to book as there are people queuing out the door to eat there.

Spent two nights here, coming from Rovinj, and then heading to Trogir/Split. What a terrific hotel & restaurant.
Our room was upgraded and it was HUGE and had a wonderful view. Uri and Mario at the desk were friendly and helpful. The drive to Plitvice was minimal. Breakfast was substantial.

Had veal peke the first night at the restaurant and it was EXCELLENT. The pizza on nite #2 was pretty good.....and we are pizza snobs.

Was delighted I chose this hotel!

This hotel was referred to me by a friend who had recently driven by and liked the look of it. He was not mistaken as it was a very friendly well run establishment with an equally goo restaurant next door - and judging by the number of people we were not the only ones to enjoy the food. The hotel is 5 minutes from Plitvice Lakes, and rather than be stuck with the hordes in the tour buses, this was a welcome escape, allowing us to do our own thing at our own pace.

We had a family room which was huge. It was the only time on our holiday that our 2 kids had a bed each to themselves. The manager was super friendly. The restaurant next door was lovely and the breakfast was beautiful. I would agree about the showers been a silly design. Much better to have a bath!

One of the nicest experiences of our trip.
The staff was excellent. We were given a nice upgrade to the third floor room and both our room and our companion's were spacious and quiet.
There is one problem and that is with the shower. It is tub/shower combo and shower is mounted on side wall. If you turn it on without removing it from the holder it sprays everywhere.
Just be sure to take it down then divert the water from tub faucet to shower or be prepared for a drenching!
The breakfast included with our room was the best we had in our three plus weeks in Europe!
Restaurant on the property is likewise exceptionally good for lunch and dinner but needs reservations for dinner especially on weekends.
Bikes are available for rent @hotel.
It is about 5-10 minutes to Plitvice by car.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are worth the splurge.

It's a fairly small hotel, but in a wonderful location convenient for Plitvice National Park. The room was huge, very clean, and a big bathroom with a powerful shower (with a shower screen that didn't really work though and you ended up with a fairly wet floor).

Breakfast was fairly basic but fresh and a choice of hot food, cereals, bread, juices, yoghurts, fruit, etc, and some lovely touches like yoghurt smoothies, omelettes made to order, and crepes.

Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Would most definitely return. Highly recommended.

The staff is very nice and accommodating; the breakfast is very nice; the room and furnishings are first class. There is an OK, and reasonably priced restaurant only a few step away. The bathroom is modern and really lovely except for the shower. It is poorly designed, cramped and water always leaks all over the floor. Management knows about this flaw but inasmuch as a substantial re-build will be required, they have done nothing. Room had a nice outdoor balcony, also. This is a small hotel and has a very personal feel. It is about several miles north of the national park entrance on the main two lane highway going through this area.
