We were lucky enough to spend a night here with our kiddies, en route to Plitvice.
The falls were every bit as crowded as we'd been told to expect, but we'd had a wonderfully comfortable and peaceful night beforehand, which helped. If only we had booked 2 nights, the yurt would've been a perfect spot to escape to afterwards as well.
The location is very rural, and the yurts themselves are secluded and private. It was raining when we arrived, but no problem... the Mogolians clearly know a thing or two about waterproofing! One thing to be aware of, the bathroom is a bit remote from the yurts.88
We stayed in the larger yurt, and were amazed at how spacious it was, even with 4 beds/occupants. The beds are very comfortable, the linen is of excellent quality and there's a decent wifi signal. In some ways this feels more like a hotel room than camping, except that's it's just a bit more romantic than either!
Catherine is a delightful host, thoughtful and generous. She and her husband are clearly working very hard to offer some great accommodation, and there is plenty of evidence of new facilities on the way. They truly deserve to succeed, and we hope to go back one day to sample their hospitality again.
