The museum also has a conference room where lectures and seminars take place, a traditional coffee shop as well as a permanent exhibition of traditional products and woven handicrafts.

The museum has lots of photos and hardware exhibits relating to olives, wine, costumes, life in Corfu decades ago. It is very well presented, with lots of atmosphere, and is well worth a visit. It costs €3 and has very nice toilets.

We found the museum very interesting. Good value at 3 Euros.
Nice English lady in charge who told us further various information. She didn't mention the Roman Baths opposite, which would have perhaps been worth a visit, but it was all locked and barred.

If you already are in Acharavi, do visit the museum! Don't if you have to travel from the far south of the island
