“Exactly what we needed at a great cost”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Just got back today from a week's stay at the Kamari Apartments in Acharavi. The room was very clean and bright with a small patio area with table, chairs and a washing line, the bathroom was large and the shower warm and roomy. We never intended cooking in the apartment so cant comment on the facilities. The apartments sit in quiet gardens and the management team were visible on hand every day from 9am till whenever needed.

The pool is a good size and the pool area is very well set out with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas next to a pool bar. No sign of any swimming costumes turning green as some have suggested.

Acharavi is a quiet resort, but has everything we needed. Its about a 15 min walk at the very most from the apartments. Enough great places to eat especially Woody's bar and the fabulous Faros with its free Wifi, the Navigator and the Achiravi Tavern up in the town. The beach is quite pebbly but once you are in the water it is lovely and sandy and a great place to swim.

We also walked into Roda a couple of times where the beaches are a bit more sandy. This is about a 20 min walk from the apartments.

A great location for a Greek beach holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a laid back and relatively quiet hotel and resort.

Just returned from holiday at Kamari Apartments, had a great time,we were in a studio which was adequate for our needs, really clean and quiet, the grounds were immaculate.Eva works really hard and is genuinely interested in her guests needs. The supermarket is only a couple of minutes away from the apartments ,as is the bus stop, where buses are available to other resorts. Corfu Town is well worth a visit, the fare was only 7.20 euro return, the small resort or Kassiopi is also worth a visit . A 20 minute walk from Acharavi is Roda, which has a big sandy beach and some bars and restaurants. We found bars to watch football, both in Roda and Acharavi, which pleased my husband!
We met some lovely people on this holiday and enjoyed a drink in the bar most evenings, with Caroline and Ed and Derek and Nicky. We had some good meals in Acharavi ,Acharavi Park and Navigator, and Oddyseus to name but a few, costing between 25 to 30 euros including drinks.
Would definitly return to these apartments.

Just returned from a fantastic week at the kamari, weather very hot,zak eva and christos lovely people always on hand if u need any thing, there was 4 of us and we had 2 1 bedroom apts with loads of space and storage, rooms were very cool at night, the pool area was excellent one of those pools u just can not keep out of, the grounds were excellent to, we spent a couple of days at the beach pebble beach but sandy when u get in the sea, the sea was clear and warm, acharivi was about 25 minutes walk and would recommend the acharavi park taverna for a meal we ate there most nights as it was excellent, all in all we had an excellent wk for the price we paid and would return.

We found the apartments just as we expected from a holiday in Greece, very basic but as somewhere just to sleep & shower that is fine....We had a one bed apartment which was very big considering just the 2 of us. If there is anything you require for your room you just have to ask Eva, she gave us a toaster, extra towels & mosquito plugs....Thought it was great that all the left over sunscreens & insect repellents from previous guests are left in reception for you all to take & use...Beer, wine & bar snacks all very cheap...My only gripe was having to put up with a wasp nest near our balcony for the week without anything being done about it even though we mentioned it twice but still was not a too big a deal to spoil our time there....Overall I thought the apartments are just how it is...You get what you pay for....

Room Tip: If you want lots of space then go for the 1 bed apartments....

Just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Kamari apartments in Acharavi. Found the owners & staff to be very helpful and friendly. Pool was wonderful & clean for the kids. Not the most spacious apartment ever, but it was just what we expected from the online photos.

Room Tip: Our room was the furthest from the bar & pool (still very close!) which helped with evening nois...
