Fantastic food, exquisite views, A1 service. An amazing value. Personalized customer service from friendly and energetic staff. The accommodations were stylish as well as clean! Hotel manager spared nothing to accommodate us. A fantastic tour guide! Go for it!

The rooms are very big and you have a great bathroom, with shower and shower tray.
A very nice Restaurant is part of the Hotel, where you get an amazing breakfast. In general very calm and the rooftop bar & Restaurant gives you the possibility for some recovery and socializing. If not use the Hotel own beach area with the branded seats or try the nice spa area

Room Tip: seaview and as high as possible

The hotel is at the end of Podstrana in a quiet location. As with most of the hotels on this stretch it is on the main road but we didn't really notice this as everything opens out on to the man made beach on the other side,. The staff were brilliant, very helpful, they arranged all of our excursions for us.The rooms are good. Breakfast was excellent, good selection of healthy options. We were offered airport transfer for 50€, pre-booked taxi was 29€.
The gym and spa are of limited use. They are small, the gym can only accommodate one person, maybe two. It has three cardio machines and light dumb bells. The website should be updated, there are not yoga classes on the beach and roof. In fact there are not any classes. The sauna has to be booked and paid for.
There are two bar-restaurants immediately adjacent - both are good. While the immediate area is quiet it is only 300m along the beach to bars and restaurants and watersports.
Ther are good activities in the area - jet skis, paddle boards, white water rafting and a fantastic zip wire course.
Some of the small things referenced in other reviews would improve the hotel but they didn't detract from our holiday.
The only real negative was the restaurant. It was never busy which may make it difficult for them to stock fresh food. We had dinner there once, we both had seafood dishes, both were poor.

We stayed in the Hotel Split for eight days on the 9th September. The hotel staff without exception were all lovely and helpful. However there were several things wrong, the hotel had closed the bar on the roof because of bad weather just before we arrived. Fair enough but why not open the very comfortable looking bar area on the same floor as the Reception? We were told they kept this area for private meetings - but hey they had a full hotel with no bar for guests - crazy.

The room had coffee and tea making facilities, but to get it stocked up daily was an uphill battle.

There were no complimentary toiletries only handwash, they were available upon request but had to be paid for.

The breakfast food and selection was good, but the `hot food` was lukewarm to say the least.

There was no airport shuttle as was advertised on the website, apparently this ceased a year or more ago, and taxi prices are extortionate.

The rooftop swimming pool was the wrong side of the hotel, and did not get the sun therefore very cold and also very noisy being on the side of the main road into Split. There were also no sunshades on the roof at all.

The hotel charged for the use of its sunbeds on the beach which they apologised for but said that it was the law as all beaches in Croatia are public - fair enough but they should incorporate this in the room price.

The sun canopy over the restaurant terrace was damaged in the wind and was not mended but just hung down for two days until they decided that it was probably not worth mending and finally put it down and tied it up.

Now for THREE good points

1. We ate in the hotel restaurant on three occasions and the food was excellent I
believe the Chef is 2 star Michelin trained and is wasted in this hotel.
2. The view from the room was excellent - all the rooms have glass balconies and
were very comfortable to sit on.
3. The hotel was exceptionally clean.

All in all I would suggest that this hotel is more suited to a business hotel than a holiday resort. There are one or two bars next to the hotel, but really nowhere else close by to go in the evening.

We resorted to walking along to the Meridian hotel during the day to use their pool facilities which cost 150 Kunas each (approximately £20) as we are not keen on swimming in the sea.

I couldn't recommend staying in this four star hotel, and also would suggest that Croatia is not a country to go to in September as everywhere seemed to be closing down for the winter.
