The hotel is sandwiched between a busy road and a very busy public beach (which extends beyond the area where sun beds are situated and isn't shown in any of the photographs on the website). The whole area was much busier and noisier than we expected.
The check-in staff were helpful, our room was clean, although the feature coloured wall was chipped and in need of re-painting.

There were a number of frustrations and a lack of attention to detail, which made it a somewhat disappointing stay.

Breakfast - it was adequate but there was a definite feeling that some of the food wasn't very fresh, in fact certain items re-appeared day after day (we were there for two weeks), making it seem quite unappetising. There was never enough fruit or pastries. The smoothie lady appeared only three times during our stay. Our plates and dishes were whipped away almost before we had finished by the over enthusiastic staff.

Downstairs restaurant- service was very slow and the food was only so-so. We ate here a couple of times. One evening it was too windy to sit outside, so we had to sit in the area where breakfast is usually served. We were the only customers having dinner. We were not offered wine, water, the dessert menu....it was totally lacking in atmosphere. The food was very mediocre, which was unforgivable given that we were the only people eating.

Rooftop area - we had to ask for this to be unlocked on two occasions. There were rarely any cushions on the sun beds - we had to go to reception and ask. Apart from the noise from the road, which we eventually got used to, it was fairly peaceful, although annoyingly some guests felt compelled to leave towels on sun beds and then go away for hours - the hotel needs to address this. It is a big area, there is room for more sun beds. There was no bar service in this area, which is a real shame as a cold drink would often have been welcome.

L'Aroma restaurant- we were looking forward to eating here but having heard from other guests how desperately slow service was, we decided against it. One evening we thought it would be nice to sit on the roof terrace and have a cup of coffee, having eaten dinner elsewhere. The staff were unable to provide this and said they would have to ring the downstairs restaurant five floors below, to get this. We didn't bother!

Room - it was clean, the view was great. It needed redecorating. Unfortunately we were disturbed late at night by tables being moved about following dinner service on the roof (our room was directly under this). Tea/coffee is provided but supplies were never replenished. This was really annoying and a basic error. Every time we had used our milk, we had to ask for more. One evening the receptionist had to go to the restaurant downstairs to get two small jugs of milk for us., which we then had to carry back to our room.

Atmosphere - there is none. I have never stayed in a hotel without a bar! The lobby area is modern and attractive but the bar remained firmly closed. If you want a drink in the hotel, it means sitting at a table in the downstairs restaurant - not very relaxing. I might add that we tried a couple of cocktails and they were awful.

So, all in all a series of irritations, which could be rectified easily. And get that lobby bar open!!

Great building, great beach, great views from all rooms, modern design, good massage, friendly checkin staff. Beach restaurant so so eg what they sell you as Caprese is very strange. And the gym is also one star . 3 old kettler machines with the bike display not working at all in a small sticky room (despite them having so much space). Improve beach restaurant and gym and it is a clear 5 star. Roof pool is also not designed well. There is so much space , then you make this small pool and waste half of it with the stairs.

Lovely designed hotel very clean and great location

Staff very friendly and helpful

Beauty therapist did an excellent massage and was also very friendly

Lovely clean beach great for swimming.

Food quality generally good but we had to wait a long time to be served in the aroma restaurant on the first night but that might have just been a bad night.

extra charge for sun beds but they would be better upwelling their food and drink at the beach. They do serve you at the beach but they should come round offering drinks and food regularly. I am sure they would collect more revenue that way.

All in all it's a great hotel and we would return.

We have stoped at our journey just to eat something.
Waited 20 minutes for soup, which surly has not included "homemade noodles" as announced in menu.
Smashed potatoes taste like - not tasted at all, look like made from powder.
Meat was just ok, not tasty, just ok.
Quality of this restaurant is overall very poor.
