My and my friend stayed here for one week. It is conveniently located about 30 mins from Split. There is a bus right outside the apartments and cost 13 kuna each (£1.50). The buses run every 30 mins. At the apartment there was a tiny pool which no one used. If you stay here you need to use the Meridian facilities. To use the sun beds, sauna, spa and pools with towels it's 500 kuna each (approx £60) for 7 days. We went self catering at the apartments and ate out. Main course on average £10. There are some lovely restaurants on the marina which is walking distance. We did eat at the Meridian (breakfast 120 kuna £14) and main meal (about 230 kuna £25) once or twice. Supermarket very nearby and cheap pizza restaurant next to supermarket is very cheap (no dress code).

Everywhere in Croatia is very clean, the apartment was cleaned every day. They did ask for a tourist tax at the end of our stay which was 105 kuna. Took me by surprise and lucky I had some kuna left!

The apartment was nice, but for the extra cost incurred through self catering and cost of use of facilities, I would stay at the Meridian. Hotel was fantastic. We spoke to people round the pool who were half board at the Meridian with use of all facilities for free for £850 pp. We ended up spending more than this. Le Meridian is of far superior quality.

Usually one has to write good or bad review after visiting to the property. I actually didn't visit the hotel - had to cancel my trip last minute - few days before planned date. The problem was that my cancellation deadline passed 10 days before the moment I found out that I had to change my plans.
Nevertheless, extremely kind people from The residence Hotel Reception accepted cancellation without any penalty fee and arranged everything with the booking portal.
Extremely professional and friendly service at the same time.

Arrived at the Residence Apartments though the rooms at every nice and have air conditioning that's all I can say there is very little to do around the site unless you want to spend all your time on a beach there are a few restaurants around but little else You have to get on a bus for 20 mins to get to Split but you could get an apartment closer so why stay here . Also we haven't found the Croations very welcoming upto now either rude or arrogant

Good apartments - we are in a two bed on the 5th floor. Staff attentive and breakfast good yet basic.
Stunning views. Need to use Le Meridien's pool facilities overall a great place to stay with a family as maid service daily. Lav Marina is great but a car is essential as both Split and Omis a 20-30 minute drive.

We are just back from nine nights in a one bedroom apartment, (316) on the third floor with stunning sea views over the Adriatic and the gardens and to the pool. One thing I would say is that the pool is a lot nicer that it looks in photos - in TripAdvisor it looks like the pool is in the middle of the car park area but it's not, it's raised up in its own little zone with loungers and is nice for families with small children. We had a double balcony and the patio doors to the living room and in the bedroom open wide creating an inside/outside feel which was lovely in the heat. The apartments were top quality and spotlessly clean. They are serviced daily and the bed made and towels changed regularly. The kitchen is perfect for holiday needs with even a dishwasher. No washing machine but The Residence offers a laundry service. We made use of Le Meridien hotel facilities next door - the infinity pool and pool area is a delight and the beach and loungers lovely. There's a raised area in the pine forest for shade and a great view over the beach area. We can't wait to go back next year. Finally, complex area was really quiet and peaceful, despite there being lots of people about in August. A totally relaxing, perfect holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view. Would recommend against the Garden Rooms, they are very 'sunken' and gloomy looking.
