On arrival at this hotel we set out to find some food after our long drive up the coast from Dubrovnik. We walked along the beach for about 5km before finding a restaurant. At first we felt like we had been dropped in the middle of no where and were a bit disappointed with the location, however as the week went on we realised that actually it wasn't as bad as we first thought.
This was a great hotel for exploring Split, with buses going ever half and hour (20 past and 10 to the hour) and costing just 12 or 13 Kuna (about £1.20 each way). I would however recommend hiring a car, which we did at the end of our week. This gave us the option to travel around a bit.
On our travels we visited Omis, which I would recommend visiting. It is a small coastal town with plenty of bars and restaurants and is a great place to eat!
We also visited Trogir and if you are not looking for a beach holiday then this is the place I would suggest you stay. It is a small coastal town with a bit more life than Podstrana and is crammed with cafes, bars and restaurants.
On the last night we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! We both had the steak in green pepper sauce and it was so tasty! I would recommend eating here!
A great hotel and a great restaurant. The location may be the only bad point, however it depends what kind of hotel you are looking for. If you want a beach then this is your place!
