We stayed here in june.It is a few minutes from the ancient ruins,Herculaneum, which are interesting to visit. The hotel is a beautiful, stylish old mansion with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous gardens. It is not your typical tourist destination as it is not central to Naples but is a short trip on the train or by car. Some great places to eat nearby.

This Italian mansion must have been spectacular in its heyday. The rooms are massive and airy. The bathrooms ( the ones that have been redone ) are large. The ones with the jacuzzi baths are tacky. i did not venture into mine. The gardens which with a bit of care would be spectacular are very neglected. Plastic plants and flowers EVERYWHERE! Very 1980's. The breakfasts are mediocre nothing special. Location is really good for sighseeing and to walk into town, Rooms are spotless. Sad to see such a magnificent building not being properly maintained. The staff were superb. Accomodating and went beyond the call of duty,

Room tip: Sea facing

Hotel is possibly a little past its best, but would definitely recommend. We had a very spacious & comfortable family room for 1 night prior to leaving from the airport. The staff were all very friendly (in particular the gentleman responsible for the pool area). It has plenty of private parking, big gardens and a lovely big pool. Breakfast was a standard continental buffet but good quality with lots of options.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for our 1st family visit. Great size family room & lovely large terrace, fab large pool & plenty of loungers, lovely breakfast choice, and a nice location for Vesuvius & Herculaneum, plus access to trains to sorrento & surrounds for only 5 euros & kids free! Very helpful happy staff (especially Armando). We dined in the restaurant which was lovely and staff also recommended a superb take-away nearby for traditional Napoli pizza. Little deli down the road where we bought fresh lunch focaccia made to order one day too. It’s a large grand old building so of course will show it’s age a little, but only as expected. We would definitely return.

Had a family room. Really good breakfast, clean hotel, friendly staff, amazing garden, nice uncrowded pool. Food options for lunch and dinner limited and not that good for children though there are many places out of the hotel to eat.
