Can't fault this accommodation. Had a wonderful stay. Phil and Karen very welcoming and only too happy to impart information on what to see and do. Lovely touch to bake us a loaf of bread and chocolate cake (both of which were delicious). Good central location to use as a base. Look forward to returning (hopefully in the near future).
We are staying here now for one week and almost about to end our stay. The cottage is exactely as stated on the site. Karen and Phill gave us a warm welcome with homemade bread and cake. They are very helpfull and available in case we need anything. We love the annex and the unexpected visits from the cows.
We only stayed one night at Sŵn y Gwynt Holiday Annex but wished we could have stayed longer. We were warmly welcomed by Philip and Karen who showed us our accommodation. The annex is beautiful - modern but cosy and immaculate. It had a brand new bathroom which we were the first to use. Everything worked beautifully! It had everything we needed for our stay. Karen had made us a lovely chocolate cake and a loaf of homemade bread. There was milk, butter and jam in the fridge. All delicious! Our son slept on the sofa bed and he was very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the three of us and the apartment would suit a small family or two couples. We would have liked to use the bikes provided but the weather wasn't too good. Next time!
There is a nice conservatory to sit and see the view (hidden by clouds unfortunately). In better weather it would have been lovely to sit outside with a drink looking over at the Brecon Beacons in the distance.
We had a lovely brief stay and we would thoroughly recommend Sŵn y Gwynt.
I wouln't hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Everything about it was excellent and the owners couldn't do enough for us. It is also a lot more spacious than the impression the photos give. Our favourite room was the conservatory with fabulous views to the Brecon Beacons - so relaxing. We wished we could have stayed longer.
It was a amazing week in the cottage on our arrive they welcome us with bread and lovely chocolate cake. We wish that we stayed at list 1 week extra because we loved it a lot. The cottage was cleaned.
Karen and Philip was friendly with us and every thing that we need they immediately help us
I defentely come again in that cottage because we loved it a lot
Phil and Karen were smashing hosts who on arrival welcomed us with lovely homemade cake and bread and some supplies. The annexe is in a quiet position and fabulous views from the conservatory over the mountains and is comfortable and well equipped with a huge washroom. Phil and Karen told us about some lovely places to visit and the high Brecons, waterfalls and even the Gower were all a fairly short drive away. Definitely a lovely place to stay for bikers and walkers.
