Cute. Cabin-like. Nice size guest room. Luggage stand. Two chairs. Big picture window but no privacy drapes - just blackout drapes so it is all or nothing.
I was in Room 401 – there’s a glimpse of water through the trees. Friends say they had even less than a glimpse from their rooms.
No TV. Wifi good.
Bathroom has standard amenities. Hot water readiy available. Small room heater in bathroom-probably needed all year. Even heats the floor.
Breakfast buffet pretty standard; included scrambled eggs that were actually cooked.
Dinner about US$50. They only offer limited choices. Not available until 8pm.
I’m giving it a 4 review but I want to say that I’m not surprised that someone else (below) had a bad time at the hotel. (I’m referencing the person who stopped for a drink after being dunked in the water.) This the first hotel I’ve been to that locks the guests out of the lobby in the early morning. I don’t mean locked out of the breakfast room. I mean we were all standing outside in the cold waiting for the lobby doors to be unlocked. There were a lot of other little things that made me think the management has a narrow view of how to run a hotel.More
