Staying at Ecocamp is definitely one of our most memorable holidays! The location alone is utterly outstanding and spectacular - sitting viewing the towers (when they decide to appear!) whilst having breakfast/dinner is so special.

We decided to upgrade to a suite dome and we’re really glad that we did. The bed was huge and comfortable, and we loved putting on our log fire after a long day walking. Our shower and toiletries were great, and it’s nice to not have to run to a shared toilet during the night.

Ecocamp is a very social experience for eating and you are seated with the people that you are walking with that day. The food was amazing, very inventive and fresh. We loved choosing and bagging up our lunches for the day too and there was so much choice. You definitely do not go hungry!

All of the guides are helpful and friendly. Francesca and Carlos stood out for us as being particularly great! The walks we choose were: wild horses (this also comes with an asado experience!), the towers and lazo Weber! Each was fantastic and well managed. Guides were patient with slower members and ensured everyone was safe and comfortable at all times.

We were staying for Hogmanay and the bar was lively and everyone got a free glass of bubbles at the bells! It was a great way to bring in the new year!

Ecocamp are a perfect example of being both environmentally conscious and luxurious, and it’s a really special experience! Thank you!

From all the places I have ever visited, EcoCamp is one of the most inspiring concepts I have ever had the chance to experience. From the beauty of its location to its exceptional organization, EcoCamp has reached perfection. They offer everything you could dream of during a stay in Patagonia: spectacular views, a serene environment, gastronomic food, great outdoor activities and treks in the national park of Torres del Paine, cozy domes and a unique atmosphere where guests and guides create a community.

Eco Camp was the first geodesic dome hotel in the whole world, they have inspired many people to move towards a more sustainable way of doing tourism. I am so grateful that I had the chance to visit this breathtaking place. I can only dream of being part of this experience once more in my life. This a unique and beautiful place like nothing I have seen before.

If you decide to visit Patagonia, make sure you stop by EcoCamp, it would be a big mistake to not do so.

Stayed there when doing the W trek on the first week of April. Fantastic service from reception, bar and dining. Booked a suite dome, would recommend for that extra comfort and privacy, especially I had travelled so far from South Africa. On the day we trekked to the Torres the weather was dreadful, raining and windy, we were soaked to the bone. What a surprise when we returned I found a warm room with the fire burning. This really lifted me up after a long and tough day. The food choice is fantastic both for breakfast and dinner. If you are a star gazer, this is the place. Thanks to all the staff, especially our tour guides, Danny and Vincento the coolest guys on the planet. This place is highly recommended.

I stayed at Ecocamp solo Feb 24-March 2 and had an amazing time! I read every single review on TA in the last 2 years on Ecocamp beforehand. The trip exceed my expectations. The beauty of W Trek was magnificent and diverse. Ecocamp staff superb. The standard dome is about half the price so that’s why I booked it. That said, if you can afford the higher levels of probably worth it. I was super concerned about being freezing at night and it wasn’t too bad. Just know the standard dome is tiny and has no electricity or heat. You have to walk to shared bathroom. I recommend you bring your own adapter to charge your devices. Wi-Fi ten minute walk down the hill at visitor center. Food superb!

The WTrek was stunning with every kind of weather. I loved every single thing about it!

Hola,

Thanks for your feedback! We are delighted to know you had such a wonderful W Trek experience. EcoCamp is a very special place especially after a day hiking on the trails of Torres del Paine and the simplicity of the Standard Dome is a simple yet cozy place to stay in the wilds of Patagonia. Those who want more space and comfort can choose the Superior or the Suite Domes. We hope to have you again at EcoCamp!

Best,
Timothy

Our stay at EcoCamp Patagonia was beyond fabulous. Everything is so well thought out. We did the "Epic Adventure" which included biking, hiking and kayaking in the glacier. Our guide was Pablo O. and he was amazing. Claudio and Christian were also fantastic. The service was beyond excellent. The food and chefs are amazing, although it is communal dining with the guide and the rest of the people in your group (not much room for private dinners with family). The rooms are comfortable, although we had a little trouble figuring out the stove and how many logs to put in (1-2 is plenty). We had a suite with a loft and private bathroom (the toilets are compostable kind). And, probably the most fantastic part of the trip was the view from every point at EcoCamp. We lucked out and got fantastic weather 4/5 days, but definitely be prepared for wind, rain, snow and sunshine all in one! The hiking was definitely challenging but the guides make it easily adaptable.

Would definitely recommend staying here.

No wifi, and the computer at EcoCamp often did not work, but you can walk 15-20 minutes down to a hotel nearby and pay $5/hr.

Room tip: Rooms in the Back have better views
