We stayed 3 nights - 2 in one of the two bedroom (both en-suite) cabins which we had exclusive use of; although basic they are comfortable and have the added luxury of your own wood-burning stove in the lounge. A kitchen area is provided with all you would require for self catering. The cabins have a small deck area to sit and marvel at the distant mountains.
Our final extra night, we loved the park so much, was in the main hotel on the upper floor in a wonderful triple room (double + single) with plenty of space and a nice en-suite. Breakfast was basic continental but with the added touch of great little cakes/biscuits. We did have one evening meal at the hotel which is a 3 course set menu for US$30, the wine list is reasonable given the size of the establishment - it's nothing fancy but good basic fare. Their Pisco Sour was good. Alternative restaurants are close by. A couple of the staff spoke good English but these are probably summer hires. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome and help you with advice and information.
It takes about 30 minutes by car to the Pudeto catamaran for access to Lago Pehoe and a similar time to Lago Grey for the boat station there - both these give access to the famous W trail.
Internet was patchy and only available in the reception/lounge but usable and power is delivered by a generator which I believe is not operational after midnight in the off season.

Room Tip: If you can choose a room or cabin with a view of the Towers - preferably the upstairs triple,

Very homely feeling, the family is nice and helpful and they offer dinner every night (which we didn't do as we're not big meat eaters). The owner even picked us up from the administration headquarters and dropped us off again for a small extra charge. Rooms are small but well maintained and clean.

This is a wonderful place. Quiet and cosy! The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabana in the grounds of the hotel which was well equipped and very cosy. They put on a little party on Xmas Eve and made all the guests feel very welcome.

We spent two nights in this wonderful little hosteria. Place was clean, pleasant and the staff friendly. The views from our window was breathtaking. We also had our own wood burner with sufficient wood supply to last the evening. Just Magic!

Room Tip: Try to get one of the cabins slightly outside the main building...you'll get your own wood burner and small lounge.

This is a small, traditional bed and breakfast located just outside the park entrance. If you want to stay in a proper hotel room in the park (without being in a refugio) then this is the best value. You will need your own transport to get around the park unless you are on a tour. Rooms are reasonable, with an OK breakfast included. A couple of downsides: no choice on the set evening meal (but other hotels around where you can eat) and the ceiling was so thin we slept very poorly because people above were moving around during the night.
