if you are ok with camping, ie: no private bathrooms, etc, this place is beyond amazing. the price is a bit high for camping, but everything in the park is extremely expensive. to put in in perspective, the luxury hotel not 1000 yds away from the campground charges like $1000 usd per day. the campground is clean with one of the best views of the mtns in the park. the bathrooms are clean and the hot water hot, great pressure. the staff is excellent. the manager, Omar, speaks english well and responds to emails. i personally preferred staying in an actual hotel, but thats me. but i spoke with many campers there and everyone was very happy.

the restaurant on site is also very good bbq and not too expensive. $10 for a chicken entree.

Room Tip: this campground offers domes that fit up to 3 people which offer very good alternatives to setting up your own camp site. it includes sleeping bags, beds and a lock for the dome entrance.

We visited Torres del Paine shortly after the big fire at the end of 2011. We wanted to stay at Camping Pehoe, but they were not ready to receive guests again when we emailed before we left. Once we arrived at TDP we stopped in and found them to be extremely helpful with suggestions for hikes in the area, places to visit, and information about the fire damaged areas. The view of the Torres del Paine across the lake from Camping Pehoe is fantastic. Their restaurant had re-opened so we decided to wait ~2 hours until dinner time, and what an excellent meal! They cooked HUGE beef tenderloins (at least a pound each) over a wood fire big enough to heat the whole dining room. Even if you cannot stay here, come for the excellent beef.

As other reviewers have stated, lodging in the hotels of Torres del Paine National Park is extremely expensive. This campground while expensive for camping, is still a bargain compared to the hotels and frankly the hotels don't have the views! If you don't have a tent with you, the campground has semi permanent geodesic dome tents with beds and real mattresses with bed linen. For the dome tents, you need to make reservations ahead of time because availability is scarce.

There are complete shower and flush toilet facilities which are fairly well maintained. They had TP at all times which can sometimes be an issue in Chile/Argentina rural areas. There is also a kids playground with "treehouse", swings and see-saw.

Nearby is an well stocked restaurant (3 min. walk), with spectacular views and attentive staff.

We were there on/off road motorcycle journey from Pucon, Chile to Ushuaia, Argentina. Our appearance can thus be a bit "rustic" but we were always treated well by the staff.

Considering the logistics of getting everything to this little piece of paradise, they do an excellent job of treating you well.

Excellent campground! everything is expensive in and even around Torres del Paine so we chose to camp to save some money (and still it was quite costly) and though the cold at night made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep, the location is privileged, the view from the campground has to be among the best in the park –it would be about the same as the view from Hosteria Pehoé and Hotel Explora– with the magnificent Horns in front of you and some nice viewpoints a short walk away.
Bathrooms are well maintained and the restaurant is very nice. And again, the view is stunning.
