Stayed here for a couple of nights during our stay in southern laos, the hotel is on a dusty, half dug up road and is starting to look run down, but it's cheap so we weren't expecting much. The rooms were not clean either, we had arrived earlier than expected and were told our room would be ready in 15 mins as it was being cleaned... Cleaning consisted on throwing a bottle of bleach on the floor and making up the beds with stained dirty sheets!
The room was full of Mosquitos, there were even dead ones in the bedding. There was no toilet door only a shower curtain. Wifi is also terrible there was no chance of getting it in your room and only a slight chance of it working in the lobby. The hotel has an onsite 'restaurant' but unless you want ants running around in your sandwich I'd eat elsewhere.

We stayed in the cheapest rooms on the top floor. we paid 60000 kip for 1 night.
It was very hot although there was a ceilingfan.
Beds where ok, but there where no blinds on the two windows leading towards the corridor.
I didnt notice too many mosquitos, but there where plenty in the hallway.
It was ok for one night since we where moving on.

Wifi obviously didnt work on the 4th floor, but connection in the lobby was decent.

They have money exchange in the lobby and a mini marked across the street.

Given that Pakse isn't exactly swarming with decent accommodation options, this hotel is a good budget choice. We stayed in a very large double room (with equally large bathroom and shower) for one night, certainly no frills but the room was clean and comfortable, and we were very grateful to be able to check in very early at 7am after arriving off a night bus from Vientiane. It was also pouring with rain the day we were there so we made good use of the room to chill out, watch some movies on TV and catch up on sleep before leaving for the 4,000 Islands the next day. The wifi didn't work in the room or communal areas which was a bit frustrating, and there was no breakfast option (and limited choice in town), but for an overnight stopover Lankham hotel is good value and the rooms are good.

Room Tip: Even if you're not a couple get a double room rather than twin as they are far nicer, with much...

Stayed there in a double, twin and dorm. Best bathroom in dorm, everything clean, towel included, could checkin at 8 am but almost no furniture except from beds and a small sideboard, only two powerplugs in 3 bed dorm. In walking distance (ca. 600 m) from bus station where night buses from Vientiane arrive so you can save the Tuktuk (they told us it would be 4 km...). On main road close to thannon 12

I just stayed in the hotel on the last weekend (30 Nov 2013). The hotel was good and the price is fair and cheap. Also, the location is the best!
On the day we had to check out, we came back to the hotel a little bit late, but the reception allowed us to take a shower before checking out. That was kind!

This hotel is more of an upmarket guesthouse, rooms with air con and shower were US$20. The rooms were spacious without being overly large (double rooms) with our own bathroom and shower. On the third floor with no lift but easy enough to access even with tired legs and a backpack after trekking adventures in the nearby mountains. There is free wifi but it doesn't get to the rooms so only in the lobby, and it seems that if there is more than two or three users on at one time you can't get access to it until the others log off. Pakse is a quiet town but the street the Lankham is on has a few restaurants, hotels and travel places. The highlight for me though was the restaurant downstairs that had the BEST beef noodle soup breakfast I have had in South East Asia in six weeks travelling. Two sizes, small and large and the small is ample for the average person by far. Coffee and fresh juices are also available. I stayed here twice in about five days after returning from the Tree Tops adventure and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if ever in Pakse.

Room Tip: The back rooms are away from the road but closer to the roosters in the morning....

Centrally located on the main strip this is a decent enough place to stay. I stayed here twice after split it with a homestay in Don Kho. The rooms are compact to say the least but have all the basics, just no good for cat swinging.

The front of house staff are pleasant and helpful and for a budget option it's fine, I don't think there was much difference from what I heard of other places people stayed, although this is a bigger place so a little less personal. The rooms have windows soetimes looking out to the hallway and can be nosy if you are near the balconies. no wifi except the ground floor (no rooms down there) if thats a deal breaker for you. there's balconies you can sit outside and look onto the street below having a beer. mmmm. not much else to say, i'm not sure if its officially part of it but also contained is a Pho restaurant and if you can pass their test of being ignored rudely for until suddenly being served without cracking (23 mins was my record) you will be rewarded with an amazing value tasty meal the large really is LARGE
