We arrived to Nang Noi guesthouse and stayed for 1 night where the room was clean and nice except for the construction workers nearby making noise outside. We rented a motorbike from the guesthouse for 3 days and left our backpacks. The people at the guesthouse were a bit cold from the beginning and did not really want to help. We returned back after biking for 3 days requesting to reserve a room for the following night as the current night was full. He said there was a room available for us and everything was okay. We returned to stay the next night in which he said all the rooms were booked. We wanted to take their transfer to the 4,000 Islands but after the bad service and they were rude and just wanting to make money we left and happily went somewhere else.

Room Tip: Make sure to try to find a room with good WIFI if you need internet. Also there is access to hot wat...

First of all, the email for this place is bounthong1978@hotmail.com if you would like to make a booking. It is on road 5. We couldn't fault this place, we came back three times in between trips north and south. The rooms are big, airy and clean. There is a balcony that gets the afternoon sun which is lovely. Bathroom has hot water and even an air freshener! What a luxury. The bed is comfortable and fan kept us cool overnight. The owners are so helpful booking trips and letting you use their shower before night buses. Can't beat it for the price and location - its perfect. Don't look anywhere else, if you can get in here you will have a very pleasant stay. Although it seemed to be booked out the whole time we were there so be sure to send them an email in advance!

What more can I say, found this through the reviews on here. Sent them an email asking about availability and then he booked us a room for 2 nights.

Friendly, helpful, happy, that was everyone who worked here, I think they were all family members?

We rented a scooter to do the Pakse Loop, for 3 days but came back after 2 as we went quicker than expected, straight away offered us the 3rd day scooter refund (even though at 50,000kip the cheapest scooter around, new, tidy, everything works!) And we got another night before leaving for the 4,000 islands, we even booked our trip down through the GH as if we give anyone commission we wanted it to go here!

When we were sat outside the owner and his son were getting Mangos off the tree, 15 minutes later they had a huge bag full and brought one over to us with a plate and a knife, for nothing, genuinely friendly people!

Don't stay anywhere else! Fan room was baking, even though the fan was good we just stayed really warm for some reason. Oh, and nice breakfast too!

the room was very nice and clean very clean!... but unfortunable the second night i've got really sick, and they were trying to help ,gave me some medicine but the pain was horrible and the husband drove us at the hospital and hopefully he stay there helping us as a translator, so our visit was really short and i wish it was longer at this clean and kind guess house!

We stayed in Nang Noi three separate occasions as our travel plans kept changing! Each time, they were so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed: a motorbike, a bus ticket to Don Khone and a new ticket to Danang after a different guest house booked us on the local night bus against our wishes (take the morning bus instead!!). The owners are so friendly and helpful, they really made our stay in Pakse wonderful.
The rooms are clean and bigger than some we've had in Laos. The only catch is that there is no AC (unless you pay much more), but the fan is sufficient by midnight, it cools down. The nicest part of the room is the wonderfully strong hot shower! After lots of cold water showers, this was a special treat.
I would recommend this to anyone, after our terrible night getting taken advantage of by the bus company, it felt so good to come "home' to Nang Noi and the owners took care of us very well. STAY HERE! (also, eat at Daolin restaurant... they have the best food for the most inexpensive prices...)

Room Tip: Choose a room on the lower floor if possible. Also-- don't pay for a tuk tuk to get here from...

We stayed at Nang Noi Guesthouse in April 2013. We stayed in a double room with bathroom for 70.000 KIP, but they also offered single rooms (50.000 KIP) and dorms (30.000). Somebody in the bus recommended us the guesthouse and we were not disappointed. The guesthouse is very clean. The owner and his wife are very friendly and speak good English. We booked a bus- and boat ticket to Don Khone in the guesthouse. We compared the prices for this ticket around town, but Nang Noi had the cheapest price. After we had been in Don Khone we returned to the guesthouse for 1 night and rented a motorbike (50.000 KIP per day) for a 4-day motorbike tour around the Bolaven Plateau. The owner gave us good instructions and provided us with a map. We stored our luggage at the guesthouse for free and when we returned on the afternoon of the 4th day we were allowed to take a shower before getting on the night bus to Vientiane (which we also booked at Nang Noi).
Last but not least there's free wifi, a free book exchange (including Lonely Planets) and the breakfast (baguettes/omelet/coffee/tea/fresh fruit) is definitely worth ordering.
