Adjacent to the Lake Gardens is the War cemetery. A well looked after cemetery is a sad reminder of how useless was is. Walking thru it and reading the names of many may young British soldiers made me wonder how we manage to lead young people to believe in giving up their lives in what is times again, a fruitless activity- war. The maintenance of this cemetery is funded by the Brits, hence it is immaculate, so it is worth a walk around. It is only a small, so you dont need much time, half an hour is more than sufficient.
