Not too much coconut in this. Texture of the cendol is really the "homemade" type so it is not too chewy as if some sort of jelly was put in. The gula melaka is not too much so for me the sweetness is just right. More on the salty side than most cendol I tried.
The place was situated under a hot corrugated tin roof so those who can't stand the heat may find this place a bit uncomfortable, but I have no problems sharing a table in a crowded hot place.
