This hotel is absolutely beautiful! the best in the area to stay in. It has the most amazing view from the main swimming pool but also from the rooms.(junior suite with private pool) . Breakfast was really good with a wide selection for all tastes and the food at the pool and restaurant was good and quality for money. One of the negative things was that the wifi wasn't great when you were in the rooms and the bed was really uncomfortable. Also for 265 euros a night u would expect to get two extra beds or a larger sofa which turns into a bed as the one they had was too small and uncomfortable for the kids ages 9, 14, 6, 9! Also something really important is the bee issue! It's full of bees and yet the hotel could have had sth like hanging repellants cause at some point it gets really annoying! If you go take with you bee repellant cream! The hotel reception must be able give some information abt things to do around the area! However overall it's a lovely place to stay and I would go back to stay there again !

Room Tip: If you are going to stay in the junior suites with private pools then ask for a table and chairs for...

This stunning hotel lies on top of a mountain offering breath-taking views over Pefkohori and the sea. We loved the hotel itself, the quiet surroundings, the infinity pool and the beautifully illuminated pool area in the evening. And our room was extraordinary. A spacious and modern junior suite with partial sea view and a small private pool. It was a bit of a walk from the room to the hotel but you could always call for a golf cart to pick you up.

On the downside, we expected more from the food. The food was bland and nothing to write home about - it didn't match five star quality at all. For example the so called "Greek spring rolls" turned out to be nothing else but ordinary, Chinese, ready-made spring rolls - only the price tag was different.

Service was mostly friendly and efficient, however, we experienced some problems at the front desk where service was slow and the receptionist spoke and understood very little English. Not exactly something you would expect at a five star hotel!

Very expensive - poor value for money.
No view from rooms
Awful bed
Private pool - no privacy, open to all directions, no ceramic in pool
Many ants in the room
Far away from beach (last shuttle bus returns at 6 PM)
Bottom line - book another place, there are many !

Me and my family visited Alia Palace at the end of June - beginning of July (that was our fourth time staying at this hotel). Beautiful gulf view, nice swimming pool, friendly staff, very good food and excellent room (all rooms are renowated this year). And most important thing - very good quality at a reasonable price. We'll be back in Alia Palace next year.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

We were there for 5 nights in the beginning of May in "junior suit with private pool". But that was only by Greek standard. The hotel was just open and there is so many things out of order - no greetings from the staff, so noisy air condition, non working box safe, dirty water in our pool, no wifi in the room....as if we were the first guests in that suit. I wouldn't be so crytical if I had met a correct and polite staff attitude. First three days water came and stopped on the tap in bathroom. They non stop promised us to fix the problem and when we entered the room - the problem was still there. I called more than 20 times the reception to complain about anything wrong. It was a real nightmare. The nice buildings, location and sea view we couldn't enjoy. There is no any organization and coordination in the hotel staff. I mean management team and reception staff. Another problem was that housekeeping staff came when we were in the room - late afternoon or technical staff was busy every day with our swimming pool at that time. We were not calm in the room because just waited for someone to appear :-(
The food was nice and restaurant service was good also. That hotel is not five stars obviously. I understand that we were in the beginning of season there but it would be better if the receiption staff at least was trying to make something. Greek hotel industry staff are not famous with their kind attitude but even they wouldn't like to be. This is sad. Finally when we went home, I made a formal complain in travel agency and the hotel answer was unbelievable. No sorry, no explanation. All was in the opposite. It was so rude and impudent. It can be a hospitable industry :-(

You don't have to watch picturesque photos of the hotel and the area. In fact the views are better than any photo could depict. You will never forget the view of Pefkochori downhill and the Kassandra bay further. Area very calm. No close hotel or road makes the hotel area peaceful and quiet.
Staff is multinational english speaking, friendly and professional.
People met were mainly English, Scandinavians, Poles, Germans, Romanians, Serbs.
There were no many children so it was rather quiet at the pool area although sometimes just a few children could make some noise.
Very relaxing not too loud music.

The food was very good. But if you don't have all inclusive option be prepaired to pay 2 euros for 1l of soda water or 5 euros for two small beers if you want to have them during dinner.
I had junior suite apartament with private pool. Most of the junior suites don't have a good sea view beacause there is a building in front of it so you have just a small piece of sea on the left and right side of it. There is enough of privacy in the rooms and private swimming pool. There is a tv set but only a couple of tv channels. There were 2 main drawbacks of the suites. The bed had spring mattress so my back had to get used to it after 2 days. Not too comfortable. There was also a little unpleasent smell in the bathroom. I don't know if my room was the only one with the smell or every junior suite had it.
The opinions of the wifi are old. In fact every area of the hotel had a good coverege. The speed was not extraordinary but I could speak voip phone without any problems. Browsing the www was also acceptable. Be prepaired to walk a little uphill for a 2 or 3 minutes from the lobby to junior suite apartaments.
The hotel is clean and tidy.
There is a hotel shuttle bus transferring to and from the city beach 4-5 times a day. On the beach you have to pay 10-12 euros for an umbrella giving you shade. The beach is crowdy but if you walk 1-1,5km away from the town center you find a plenty of places without people nearby. If you want to go to and from the town on foot you may find it a little demanding - the path is a little steep, but if you go slowly you may find it interesting. There are two ways to the town - the road track a little longer and less steep, and the natural pathway- shorter but more steep.

One night at the hotel there was greek woman singing live different repertoire. Her voice was extraordinary and so was the acoustics of the open hotel area. Amazing experience.
"The Greek night" was rather average.

I recomend it. 5 stars from me. This is the place you won't forget.

This hotel is amazing and I would recommend it to al the travelers.
The only bad thing about is Wi-Fi connection which is a joke. It works perfect, but only in the reception and the pool area. In the rooms it doesn't work and it's not because of the Internet Provider, as they try to justify (if it was from the ISP then it shouldn't work in the reception also), but the problem is from their internal WAN which is not properly configured.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the first building which is closer to the reception so you'll have a better Wi...
