We stopped at the Grandview on the way home from Manitoulin Is. on Chi-Cheemaun. It was a mild, sunny September evening. The restaurant overlooks the entrance to Tobermory Harbour and this makes for a very special backdrop. We ate outdoors on the semi-covered patio. We were greeted by the gracious hostess who kept an eye on our needs all the time we were there. Both of the 2 waiters/waitresses who were on duty really seemed to enjoy their job. They were genuinely friendly and attentive. We both ordered salmon with an orange ginger sauce garnished with cashew bits. It was delicious. We had 2 sides, red cabbage with orange and grilled vegetables. Both were exactly as they should be. Our meal made for a special ending to a special day. We'll definitely be back.
