Went on a windy day at the end of October. Seemed fairly quiet but we still passed a few people on our hike. The walk is super easy and well marked. Only takes about half an hour to get to the grotto. Once you arrive, there are lots of opportunities to take photos and there is also a washroom right at the grotto. Beautiful hike and views.

We visited the grotto mid week and off season. It was a beautiful area and well worth the effort. We walked the hour and a half trail to the grotto and did not take any chances on the cliffs nor did we climb down to the water. It was an overcast day but fantasticjust the same. Be sure to secure your parking pass and time..very easy to do online.

We hiked to the Grotto on a wide path that leads from the park camping to the cliffs... Stunning view and beautiful waters, but the number of visitors is a bit through the roof. Selfie sticks, garbage and cigarette buts are making things less than a natural beauty. We didn't get to the caves, as the weather was less that perfect. Nice to visit, but not that high on my list of places to return to.

Been here a few times, water is usually cold but refreshing and the scenery is absolutely perfect. Great place to stop for lunch and a swim along the Bruce trail

This place is great to rnjoy with family. The water is cold there but it is worth one dip in wate. If you like to explore and want adventure, bring in your underwater equipment and explore the caves under water. You get around 4 hours for the whole visit to Bruce peninsula, this place is where we spend our whole time.

Hike through scrubby cedar woods to the grotto. You climb over rocks to view the grotto which is just a hole in the rock . The vista is nothing that you couldn't see from many spots along the shore of Bruce Penninsula. Might have been better if it hadn't been an overcast day, just after a rain.

Had been here once before a few years ago in the summer and was extremely crowded. Much better this time. Multiple hike options. The water colors are spectacular and the caves are amazing. A little slick with intermittent mist. SHoes with some grip were a must.

Spend time at this beautiful, small body of water. The clarity is amazing, along with many other parts of the coast. Definitely visit here, but be sure to get parking reservations.

Reserve ahead for parking. I recommend taking the Horse Lake Trail in (from the Head of Trails), spending time looking at the grotto, the sea caves and the natural arch, then coming out the Marr Lake Trail. These trails give you a variety of scenery and make for a nice loop-trail experience. Two hours is more than enough time to do the hiking and spend time at the grotto, unless you are going to swim or spend lots of time there. I suggest coming at an off-time of year as there were still quite a few people when we visited in late September and it was quite cool. But definitely worth the effort and the high point of our visit to the Bruce Peninsula.
