Owner description: The Grotto, in Bruce Peninsula National Park, is one of the top tourism attractions in Ontario. A shoreline sea cave with the beautiful blue waters, the Grotto is a unique natural wonder and memorable place to experience. It is also a very popular and busy location, especially during the peak season of July and August and on long weekends. At those times, the parking lot will fill up and you may not be able to access the Grotto.

“One of Canada's best little known Wonders!!!”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

The grotto is arguably one the best most naturally beautiful areas in Canada. The water looks like it belongs in the Caribbean, the trees and the cliffs all make for a beautiful, picturesque area. The trails and paths into the grotto have been maintained and are highly accesable considering they are meant to be hiking trails. Take the family, have a picnic a nice hike and maybe even a dip in the cold water, is there a better way to spend a beautiful and hot summer day.

“Don't miss....”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Short 20 minute walk to The Grotto is worth the view.
Awesome cave formations and the ability to get "inside" the attraction is a plus.
Additional trails in the area with viewing areas also.

“Just Average”
Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Visited for the day. Water is pretty and The Grotto is average. Nothing to go out of your way for. Probably way more interesting to snorkel.

“Stunning!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

It's a fantastic place, to get there I would 100% recommend taking the Horse Lake Trail there, and the G-Bay trail back. The Horse Lake trail is incredible and offers a couple surprises that will leave you speechless! It's an average to above average trail in terms of difficulty but will take you there.

The Grotto itself is very cool, there are a couple of ways down but be careful of wet rocks! A real hidden secret in Ontario, one of it's most beautiful places!
