“Great spot to eat.”

Giant draft beer glasses with lots of great choices.

Food was very good and service was excellent.

Prices a little high for draught beer.

“Had a great dinner here!”

Place had good food, was clean (including nice clean bathrooms) and has a great outdoor patio overlooking the wharf, plus it is open late (for Tobermory), what more could you ask for?

“Good, but will punch your wallet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

Staying at the Princess, we ate here because the motel dining room was closed to be cleaned. I'll keep this short...

The beer was nicely cold. The pizza was very good, very fresh. The service? Attentive. The price? OUCH! Cost us about $45 CDN for two beers, a large pizza and an order of poutine. Man that's a little stiff, especially out of tourist season.

Again, the food *was* good, so that eased the pain somewhat.

“It's ok”

A little on the loud side when the band is playing. Service is a bit slow when they get busy but they do try to keep up. Pleasant atmosphere in a ship's deck like setting. Food was good and the bill was reasonable. NB: Beer was really cold. :)

“Decent food, nice service and quirky”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2011

Crowsnest Pub and Coffee Shop is a newer place in Tobermory. Though a little rough around the edges in terms of the atmosphere, the food at Crowsnest makes up it's shortcomings. For pub food, the portions are more than adequate. The jalapeño poppers were hot and plentiful. The mushroom and mozzarella burger was tasty and juicy. The French onion soup was pretty good too and the emmenthal cheese was perfectly portioned. The service was quick and very friendly as you would expect from a small town Ontario place. Hopefully the echoey empty sound of the Crowsnest can be replaced by a fuller, warmer sound because if it had been busy, I am sure that it would have been impossible to hear my wife. Also the spelling errors from menu to menu demonstrate a lack of attention to detail. Nonetheless, the food and overall charm of the service make the Crowsnest a worthy stop when visiting Tobermory.
