This was a fun trip but think its best for families with children. I would recommend only the half day here as it is enough time.

The guides are a riot and know enough of several languages to make it really fun for everyone. First you go to an area where there are sharks (do not attack people) and stingrays. Then you go to a great snorkeling place with coral and lots of fish. Then the lagoonarium where there are turtles, fish, sharks and stingrays (do not hurt people). Lots of fun. Then a great lunch with lots of food and the guide does a parea demonstration, showing all the ways to wear them, using the women present as models. It's a little long after the lunch, but you can swim, snorkel, or lay on a lounger for the hour or two before it's time to go. Nice lazy day.

Great, funny tour guides, beautiful spots, delicious food, awesome natural environment swimming with the local fauna among which fish, sharks (black-tipped, lemon...), sting rays & plenty more.
Go for the full day because you're worth it. You will laugh your heart out & remember those moments for a long time. Plus the guides can speak many languages (French, Tahitian, English, Italian, Japanese, some Spanish...).
All the best to all the Lagoonarium team & keep up the great job!
Mauru'uru.

If you've been to Discovery Cove in Florida, this experience will blow it away. For one, the water is like bath water. Second, you don't need to get up at some early hour to catch an expensive charter to then hopefully see some beautiful fish. No, you can simply stroll over to the hotel's stunning Lagoonarium any time you want, wade in and swim among some of the most stunning fish ever. The restaurants even provide the bread to feed them with. By the time we left, the fish looked like meatballs with fins we fed them so much! The hotel even has a marine biologist on staff to provide a guided tour but you can grab your snorkeling gear and go on your own if you prefer. Truly amazing.
