We were staying in a jacuzzi suite while in town for a meeting. The jacuzzi was not working properly and the front dest staff member (Megan) quickly switched us to another jacuzzi suite, we didn't even have to ask. Very quiet hotel, even though it is right on St. Albert Trail. Very easy to get to Anthony Henday from this hotel and their is a mall very close by.

The thing about hotels that offer breakfast as part of your room stay is that so many of them assume that their overnight guests have no palate when it comes to food.

The room was big, bright, warm (it was -25°C overnight) and there were plenty of plug-ins for cars in the parking lot. However, it is a very dry hotel. Sparks flew (from static electricity) when we pulled back the sheets. Thank goodness for the body lotion in the bathroom. You might set yourself on fire in the middle of the night with all of the sparks.

Overall, an enjoyable stay. They will arrange your check-out options at check-in so you don't have to wait in line at the desk in the morning.

However, breakfast in the morning was dreadful. The only things that weren't full of sugar were the hard-boiled eggs (and I mean hard and dry), thin bacon and 2 choices of cold cereal. Sugar-laced oatmeal, French Toast (do not eat the French Toast - it is awful), pastries and many cereals were pumped full of sugar. We threw out the French Toast after a single bite. Waffles weren't much better because it was terrible cheap syrup with a taste that was, well, off! We ignored the toast because the butter isn't butter. It's low-grade margarine. Coffee was OK but you could get fresh grind specialty coffees for a price from the machine in the hall.

The breakfast room is large, lots of tables and very clean. In fact, there are many things that the hotel is doing right but it is all being overshadowed by the last thing you experience before you leave: a really below-mediocre breakfast. Stop cheaping-out BW. For a few more pennies per person, assume that the people who had the good sense to choose your hotel might also have the good sense to know good food from low-grade cheap ingedients.

Room Tip: 201, 301 and 401 southwest corner rooms you can hear the smokers outside and coming up and down stai...

We stayed for a hockey event with our 3 kids. Nice new hotel with big, clean rooms. The breakfast was included and had a good selection. Kids enjoyed the pool. Great location near lots of restaurants.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast included was good and had a wide variety. Some of the hot breakfast items were only a little warm and were a little tough. Over all a good experience and we will likely stay again if we end up in St Albert for business again.
