We stayed one night (checked in about 10pm and had to wait for three other checkins ahead of us as there was only one employee who also was on phone duty). I found the traffic noise from St Albert Trail (major artery) to be quite bothersome. I won't stay there again unless we can have a quieter room. There is a Full breakfast, very crowded, but lots of food and a great variety. All of the rooms were nicely decorated and there is a pool. We had only a shower in our room, which was very odd, but not a huge issue.

Room Tip: Insist on a room far away from St Albert Trail. Insist.

Stayed two nights in August/2011 at the end of our 10 day Alberta Trip. This place was very nice. Rooms were spacious & clean with a larger than average flat screen TV & very comfortable bed & fresh linen. We made this our Edmonton base as it is on the outskirts of the city and is very close to major attractions such as West Edmonton Mall, which is only 15 minutes away. Many restaurants near by, Tim Horton's & 7-11 next door & there is St. Albert Mall just down the road.
Because this hotel is listed under St. Albert & not Edmonton is the reason that there are so few reviews i believe. It's kind of a hidden secret i guess. Check in was great, clerk very friendly & there were cookies available at the front desk. Breakfast was deluxe, waffle machine with fruit toppings, breakfast burritos, omeletes, etc. Nice swimming pool & hot tub as well as fitness room. Only complaint & many others felt the same way, was the elevator or lack thereof. Only one small elevator for this large 4 floor hotel is insufficient. I heard a lot of grumbling from people about this during our stay, and a few times we took the stairs to the 4th floor as the elevator was just taking too long. But that is really the only issue we had. We really enjoyed our stay here & would definetly return.
St.Albert is a great little town with all amenities & is the perfect place to stay to visit Edmonton attractions without the aggravation of staying in the big city!

We have styed here several times, and have always been pleased with the staff, cleanliness, and service. The rates are very competetive. This is the ideal "home base" when visiting the north, or west of Edmonton. It is located near some excellent dining establishments.

As a family, we booked a block of 5 rooms for 2 or 3 nights, depending on when family members were leaving. We were impressed with the hotel in many ways.

For starters, the hotel honoured a request that the rooms were close to each other. That made visiting between rooms very easy. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room we had was suite with a separate bedroom. I've been in some so-called 4 star hotels that weren't as nice as the one we had. The breakfast room was clean, well stocked, and had very attentive staffers ensuring that there was an ample supply of food. The pool was nice for the younger ones in our party to burn off energy. Right next door, there is a combined Wendy's/Tim Hortons restaurant. If that doesn't work for you, there are several options nearby, but you would need a car.

Downsides? In our suite, the air conditioning unit was housed in the separate bedroom. That made it tough for us to be real comfortable in the living section of the room when our babies were sleeping in the bedroom, and we had to turn the AC off. The hotel's location on St. Albert Trail doesn't provide for the nicest views. None of those items were reason to drop our 5 star rating.

Spent a good time there. Charming staff, High end room amenities. The continental breakfast is outstanding. The center location of this hotel make it easy to go anywhere in St-Albert from there.

This is a great hotel! Starting with the staff who are courteous and helpful,
To the rooms which are nice and modern and very clean.
The bed, bedding and other linens were great. The entire hotel
Is smoke free, which I loved. There is free wireless and a
Mini fridge in the room. So after a great nights sleep, you
Can go down for their continental breakfast-awesome. This is
No muffin and juice breakfast, everything from the muffins, cereal
To omelets and waffles and everything in between. Great hotel.
