Very nice little well-organized museum about Andrea Hirata and his life.
Excellent spot in Belitung, with nice suggestions about Life and surprising people (as normally happens in Indonesia).
With also a lovely cafè and, sometimes, live local music.

Very nice small museum. Tried to sit in the kitchen and chat with the guy who take care of the museum. Enjoy the coffee and the talk!

..especially for those who has read/watched Laskar Pelangi. You'll feel the attachment as you see part of the novel/movie there. Beautifully decorated too. And there's a local coffee shop (warung kopi) at the back of the museum.

People before me have review this place beautifully as it is. All is left for me to say was this place is as inspiring as it can be, a spirit uplifter if i may say, in the heart of a paradise called belitong..

100km from the town, driving 45-60minutes is worth the time as soon as I arrive in this museum. The place is so unique, the coffee in the small coffee stall at the back of the museum tastes great. Not to mention how inspiring this place is in terms of its way of displaying all the literary works in art forms.
