“Lovely meal for 2”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

Super meal, with great service and nice location. On the outskirts of town, starters main drinks and coffee from the a la carte menu came to 50 Euros for 2. Everything was really tasty - couldn't fault it.

“Beautiful views wonderful food”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

Situated in the hotel, by the garden, this wonderful little resaurant is a must if you visit Orgiva. The staff were so welcoming. The food was excellent. For tapas we had grilled eggplant, followed by a very delicous, creamy Pumpkin soup, with a slice of toast with moscarpone cream. We had the grilled trout and a lamb shank, both were perfectly prepared and well seasoned. the lamb was fall of the bone. As mentioned by other reviewers the bread is homemade and tasty, we had the garlic, onion and the tomato breads.
All in all a relaxed, dinner in a beatuiful setting with the mountains and orange trees.

“A very pleasant evening meal”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Visited on a very quiet midweek evening in February. This restaurant has the benefit of opening at 7pm,rather than the usual 8pm of other places, so for those who have had a long day out and have to drive a reasonable distance back home or to holiday accommodation after the meal, this is very much appreciated.
The restaurant is welcoming and comfortable, with a good menu choice. The house white wine is excellent.
Food was served quickly, including some excellent free tapas to start with. Mussels and prawn starters were amazing. The duck main course was also perfectly cooked - rare as requested. The poussin was a little bland, but then chicken is sometimes hard to get a good taste to it when it is cooked plain and not in a sauce.
Service was good, friendly and attentive.
I would certainly go back the next time we're in staying in the area and would be happy to recommend this place to others.

“Fine food, fine views”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

This restaurant was in the centre of Orgiva but has now moved South of the town to the Hotel Rural Taray and is as good as it was. It has a lovely dining room and terrace with mountain views. I have only been at lunchtime but can thoroughly recommend the 10 Euro set lunch of a starter, main course and desert all freshly prepared and well presented plus a drink or glass of wine. As others have said the bread rolls are delicious. The hotel looks to be a good place to stay to explore the area.

“Lovely long lunch”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

We were meeting up with family for lunch and decided on Flor de Limonero. We sat outside and whilst we waited for the rest of our party to arrive we were served the best tapa ever! Wonderfully soft and tasty pulpo, perfectly seasoned. This was followed by a delicious bread roll. We chose the beetroot, goats cheese and orange salad and it was divine. We spent the whole afternoon here and were very well looked after. I will visit again.
