Description: Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!

“Amazing different Indian veg cuisine in a modern tasteful setting”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Visited this neighbourhood veggie Indian place with my tribe and was immediately struck by how modern and colourful the interior was with a fabulous wall covering photograph depicting the madness of the streets of new Dehli ...Tis an oasis of calm though in this beautiful restaurant with an extensive menu even covering Indian street food And a tailor made curry menu for our smallest tribe member ...The food was delicious and different from other Indian places and we will most definitely be going back ...

“A Valentine to Remember”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

This wonderful Indian vegetarian restaurant has recently moved from Bradford City Centre to a more spacious building, a former pub, in Drighlington. My husband and I enjoyed their set menu with a Valentine theme (including red rice) which ended with a spectacular pudding to share. The cooking is terrific, the service is friendly and professional and the whole ambiance makes you want to return. Highly recommended!

“A Valentine to Remember”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Pradash previously occupied a very small restaurant on the back streets of the Horton District of Bradford. It was difficult to make a reservation and almost impossible to find a parking space, espeially after winning awards and appearing on television with Gordon Ramsay. The move to Drighlington took them out of the city centre to a much bigger space, a former pub, with parking. We went for a Valentine meal. There was a set menu instead of the normal choice but everything was deliciously planned around a Valentine theme including the red rice. Pradash is a vegetarian restaurant and offers the best of Indian vegetarian cuisine. Even if you are not a veggie yourself, you won't miss the meat once you tast the wonderful prepared with love (and not just on Valentine's Day) at this friendly and award winning family restaurant. Highly recommended!

“Taste Adventure...”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We were prepared to be amazed, having watched Bobby, Kaushy and the team on Ramsay's Best Restaurant in 2010, but until you go, nothing written about this place does it justice. The new building in Drighlington is beautiful, lovely decor and in particular the carved wooden bar is stunning. We were a group of 6, none of us vegetarians, and none of us had any idea what to order! We had mixed starter plates and the sweet chilli peppers, all of which were tasty and filling. The poppadoms deserve a mention, as do the selection of home made pickles and chutneys, yum! Our waiter told us the ingredients of each dish, even down to the dips and sauces, he was polite, well spoken and very funny!! We chose a selection of main courses, Paneer curry, a Cauliflower and Pea curry, a chickpea dish and a potato masala type dish, they were all delicious, we couldnt finish everything, perhaps one round of poppadoms too many..?? We also had the coriander rice, and the simply amazing Masala Chips with Garlicky dip.. (posh chips and mayonaise) and garlic Naan breads. The house white wine is well priced and smooth, The service was excellent, even though we had to wait for our table as it was so busy and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable night. We celebrated a birthday, the waiters brought ice cream to us after our meal and all sang to my husband too. Go on a taste adventure, try everything you can, the food is fantastic. Prashad - Empress Rock Band loves you and we will be back! Thank You for a memorable evening x
