Visited late on Friday night after a long drive. Chose from menu rather than buffet, good service, friendly and attentive staff. Food was good as expected and good value for money. Would def visit again if in the area

The food wasn't bad for a "fast food" type family restaurant. My steak and kidney pud' was lovely and the staff very accommodating about substituting a jacket spud instead of the chips it came with. For starter I had a minestrone soup (it was a freezing cold day) which was very tasty, substantial and welcomingly hot. I would recommend both.
A whisky nightcap I ordered - a double "single malt" was served in a tumbler rather than a whisky glass but no matter it still went down a treat after a long drive on a cold night.
It was all "o.k" but a bit lacking in care and attention to detail. A bit soulless.

The food is very nice but we had to wait a while for some of it bad communication between staff I think toilets were a bit messy one of them was out of order and they'd shoved a big piece of wooden bench or something behind the door to stop anyone getting in but sadly it was the only toilet with toilet paper in.they weren't checked regularly, there's a play area inside for all the children so they don't get bored and the breakfasts were tasty and all fresh ingredients used

You get what you pay for, food on the self service buffet looked a bit dry but my Husband said it was reasonable, he had the burger night menu on a Wednesday, peppercorn sauce with my steak was a little runny and my steak at was not the best with a lot of fat. The pub quiz on which is fine but you cannot really hear the quiz host as he mumbles into the microphone. Staff are always friendly and polite.

Due to a shortage of guests the breakfast buffet was cancelled and everything was made to order, or not, when the food arrived the bacon was stone cold, staff. were good and offered replacements but too late by then .plates were not too clean, ok on top but a bit crusty underneath
